What were your childhood dreams and aspiration

Did you achieve it, what did you end up becoming, if you didn't achieve it?

Mine: I wanted to become a pilot, I guess grin

Now I'm pursuing a career in Software Development and Physics,

Though I have a new dream which I'm pursuing, I do hope I achieve it though embarassed embarassed

I used to think I'd never live to be 20 years old.
One day though, I just might get there.

To become a soldier. After my university degree, I got enlisted into the Nigerian navy but the dream was cut short by health issues. But I am doing pretty fine now.

As a Kid I've always wanted to be an aeronautic engineer. But school was so soul crushing i still have dreams about it now. I just had one about when I'd regularly miss the first 1/4 of the school day because it's boring, then get told I'd never make it in real world because "you can't just turn up to work whenever you want"

Now I break into networks and also work as a remote malware analyst for a company in Italy.

But right now, my ultimate goal in life: affording to be lazy while also achieving my dreams; putting in the work and at the same time not putting in the work - the in-between.

All I wanted to become is a footballer, but with parent as teachers, I still couldnt forget how going to the field required alot of lies. The slogan then was "children of the teachers must be academically good" and to achieve it requires little play.

If I were a lady, I would have been close to my menopause and till now, I don't have a stable dream. I wanted to become an economist at a point, admission palava made me to find myself in psychology, job palava made me to find myself in another career. Lols. But I love psychology, proudly a psychologist. My goal is however to do my best in any position I find myself and be a blessing to the humanity

But I have a dream now anyway and no matter the challenges to achieve it cos of Nigeria factor, I will still find a way to do it even as a grandpa

I always wanted to be a doctor even though i loved pilot but I ended up with a degree in Agriculture while busy with music and movies; and now i dream of becoming the President of this country while a pastor, who knows, I might learn Graphics design or web development before then.. That is how confused most of us are just like this country and we might end up not achieving anything, before we realize it, we are old.. Talking out of experience.. What am i even saying sef? undecided
