The Buhari govt and it's level of deception is something else , for those of us in the industry there is no way any bank or TELCO can create any charge without express approval of the CBN and NCC ..Can the NCC say it's unaware of this charge , can the CBN governor say he is unaware ? I don't know why the NCC didn't bother to carry the minister of communication along for this as this clearly smacks of insubordination and he should look into it 167 Likes 14 Shares |

This country is just so hard...four naira for every 20 seconds, Airtel charged me 63 naira just to transfer money yesterday. The way they come up with stupid policies like this baffles me. Don't be surprised that this yeye minister suspended it because his palm has not been greased, they will soon bribe him and he will look the other way. Canada please even if it is to be sweeping the streets I don't mind, this country is hellish, hard and a growth suppressant, policies that will continue to keep the common man common is what they come up with everyday. I owe my children a developed country citizenship, they can't be Nigerians. 53 Likes 6 Shares |

Good one, who agrees with me that there are just too many charges in Nigeria Do we have tax refunds, holidays or refunds for excess payments or appreciation tokens in Nigeria I remember my grandfather's 9th memorial today. The last time we spoke was Oct 1st of that year (I was in Abuja and there was a bomb blast, and I'd planned on going to Eagle Square, God saved me) he actually told me goodbye cause he was sick . He was a strong, wise, jovial, intelligent and simple man. He praised me as he scolded me. He gave me as he received from me. He taught me as he allowed me teach him modern tech So much to write about him. Rest on granddad we miss you always 19 Likes 1 Share |

The aboki's selling oranges and pepper on my street have better economic policies than this Buhari APC government . Aboki will say wan orange is 20, but 3 is pipty naira, one pepper tray is N100 but 3 is N250, and you can mix between tomatoes, tatashe or rodo, plus jara and free bagging. But Buhari APC government is running a kleptomaniac economy, their economic policy is to invent new ways to steal from the masses everyday. Las las they will still embezzle all the money generated from multiple taxation for themselves, cuz daz how 26 Likes 2 Shares |

wwwihy:Nice one FG. But let me quickly add. One of two possibilities. 1. Telecos got approval from FG before carrying out this devilish charge on USSD transactions and the government is now denying knowledge. 2. Telecos imposed charges without permission from FG (more unlikely). If 1 is true, then it goes ahead to buttress the fact that the plight of the citizens is inconsequential to government. They are just after the additional tax they'll get from the telecos. If 2 is true, then the telecos have shown the government that they (telecos) can do whatever they like so long it's just a fine they'll pay. Too bad for government. Anyway, now that government has denied knowledge, Nigerians expect a very huge fine slammed on the culprits. And hello FG, we'd like to see evidence that they telecos paid the fine. We are tired of hearing fined, fined and fined without them paying. 9 Likes 1 Share |
