They should be joking with GUTA
GUTA can single-handedly send the 3-5 million Nigerians packing from Ghana
You are talking poo.if you send Nigerian Nationals home, Nigeria will receive and take care of them and you guys will come begging like South Africa by the time we retaliate by throwing you guys in utter darkness by cutting electricity export and cutting all trade agreements.

Do you think Ghana have your time to be exporting rice to your country. We're having the same issue when government spends more than 1 billion dollars a year to import rice into our country for consumption. Do you realize we are the 2nd largest consumers, market and economy in West Africa and our consumption alone is a huge chunk on our foreign exchange. We have a population of 30 million and a GDP Purchasing power of almost 200 billion dollars. Did you see me telling you Nigeria exports goods worth 306 million dollars to Ghana in 2018 alone. Our exports to Nigeria is just 80 million dollars. Togo exploits us due to their free port just like Benin does to you.We have the same issues. Our exports to Nigeria is mostly Nigerian companies who relocated to Ghana and use the ECOWAS free trade route to export some of their goods to your market. We both loose if we start a trade war buh Nigeria loses badly. That's why your government have agreed with Ghana to open a temporary corridor for Ghanaian trucks to enter and leave Nigeria amidst the border closure .GUTA still refused for that and wants a ban of Nigerian goods and traders in Ghana. Our rice is even very different from yours and you will never find your type of rice in Ghana. Our rice cooks in just 20 minutes.
Eeeyah cingrai on your 20mins rice. This your epistle won't open the border and nobody cares if youre no1 on the planet . Forge GUTA, tell your govt to the their worst too. Asat

Ghana have passed through all those troubles and we managed to solve all of them

Ghanaians are very hard working people and they are not as lazy as you Nigerians
the international community knows Nigerians are lazy.

that should help you readjust your thinking and solve your laziness problem

had to laugh out loud when i read what this nitwit typed. Nigerians are lazy?

Your women prefer Nigerians because we are hardworking unlike your men who only patronize chop bars while the women hustle to feed the family. the only time you see a Ghanaian hustling fast is when they hear that your fast paced monotonous music and start gyrating like earthworms with salt poured on them.

Your men attach to Nigerians in ghana to learn how to hustle and work hard. Ideas your people do not have but they specialize in stealing the ideas of Nigerians at every turn

Another fool talking.

The Ghanaian economy is a highly dollarized one. Why? the currency has become more worthless in the last three years.

100 GHS cannot even buy 20 litres of fuel. Fuel in Ghana is pegged to the US dollar.
How much are hotel rooms in Ghana? You cannot get a hotel in Osu area for anything less than $100 (540 GHS) a night. This is for a cheap hotel. The high end ones are far more expensive. In the hotel, they will even tell you to pay in US dollars if you have.

Infrastructure: apart from better electricity and a better educational system, where are the infrastructure? Is it the roads? The roads are narrow and many have craters, not potholes.

Tax: Ghana pays VAT of 13.5% to 17.5%. A bottle of Malta Guiness is on the average, 3.5 GHS. N245 on the average; what we buy N150 here. Very expensive. One egg costs 80 pesewas for a small one and 1 GHS for a big one. That is between N56 to N70 for one, as opposed to N30 for a raw one.

Things are bloody expensive in Ghana and even cost of foodstuff is high. Enter the streets of Ghana and ask the average Ghanaian if their living costs are low. They are all complaining and their standard of living is definitely not higher than in Nigeria.

People like this fellow can talk lies thinking they can deceive everyone. I go to Ghana and stay sometimes a month there and I know what's up.

I have been telling that liar the same thing. The guy can lie more than the devil

Can you imagine !!! Truly, there exists no comparison between Nigeria and Ghana. There is no basis at all for such. An average Ghanaian, like that dwarf Just30,suffers from inferiority complex while dealing with Nigerians. They always like to measure how tall they are by trying to stand close to us. This is what is playing out here and that is why that bad dog 'just30' is barking up and down since god knows when!

Lol, Epic and wicked at the same time. I done laugh tire honestly. It is as simple as ABC. If the trucks can't move forward, chances are that they can go back to their country or they should remain there. You came to someone's house and discovered that the gate is locked from outside meaning the person is not around. It's either you go back to your house or stand at the gate till the owner opens for you. Shikena

Let's not be sentimental about this...

Ghana has better public institutions be it schools, hospitals, roads, electricity, standard of living etc than Nigeria. Back in the day, Ghanaians used to come to Nigeria in search of a better life and jobs but now we send our children over to Ghana for university education. Why?because their standard is much higher than ours and there are no such things are strike and cultism

I'm Nigerian but it's the truth.

If we tackle corruption our institutions will be better then we can start to fulfil our potential. Just the simple truth.

Ghana does not have better public institutions.
Stop talking nonsense.

Nigerians go to school in ghana mostly to avoid the stress of jamb or after failing jamb repeatedly.

You hardly see a high flyer going to school in Ghana as a first resort.
Infact, a visiting Nigerian professor there said the schools there are mostly shitty.
That is someone in the system.

And as for hospitals, I prefer Nigeria. We have better doctors here.

[s]l have gotten over 100 mentions about my two comments I just made and how uneasy you Nigerians felt when I gave you the facts and statistics of why Ghana never needs Nigeria buh Nigeria rather needs us to survive. Yes,Ghana is independent in terms of inter African trade.Nigeria is Ghana's number 4th trade partner in West Africa. Meaning Trade between Ghana and three other West African nations which are Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo are more higher than trade between Ghana and Nigeria. You rather exports more things to Ghana than we export to Nigeria. The issue of Ghana diplomats is,your irresponsible government didn't even announce this barbaric border closure thinking they live on an island. Although our minister diplomatically agreed with your government to open the border for only Ghanaian registered companies because these trucks had already set off and were at the border when this border closure occurred so they even want to return which will incur a loss to their products. GUTA,your long enemies who hates Nigeria 100% and wants all Nigerian traders out of Ghana wants to retaliate and the government will finally give in to their demands because GUTA is the most powerful trade organization in Ghana and comprises of all Ghanaian traders. We have a purchasing power of 200 billion dollars plus our obedient neighbors who we trade perfectly well with so we never needed Nigeria. That 80 million dollars trade with Nigeria can just slide away without any effect to trade buh GUTA has seized this opportunity to eliminate Nigerian competitors from Ghana which will thus affect the millions of Nigerians living in Ghana and doing imports and exports. That's everything explained. We exported goods worth 17.1 billion dollars to the world in 2018 so 80 million is peanuts of trade returns. And we are currently number 1 in Africa with the largest gold production country beating the leaders South Africa. We produce our own gas now,we never buy refined oil from Nigeria cos you yourself even import refined crude oil.We produce our own crude oil, cocoa is a multi billion dollar industry in Ghana who is number 2 worldwide, this year, over 1 million tourists have visited Ghana thus we earning more than a billion dollars in tourism[/s].

Stop making zoo noise .you stupid sakawa impoverished criminal....now smile at the camera..I want to take a pic of you grin grin

That's why I am laughing louder than a hyena when someone says Ghanaian economy is better managed than Nigeria. Ghana Cedi that was redenominated in 2007 due to hyper inflation . Ghana Cedi had a 20,000 note before the redenomination. To make the cedi look strong, they removed 4 zeros from their currency, so 20,000 GHC became 2cedis.
Even with the redenominations, inflation has continued to devalue the currency.

After the redenomination GHC0.92 exchanged for one $1, today GHC5.48 exchange for $1, a 700% increase. In comparison, N120 exchanged for $1 in 2007, today it's at N360, that's a 400% increase.

No bro, we need to understand that we have very poor purchasing power. The purchasing power of any country is what matters. Not really about population. Bro, Morocco is ahead of Nigeria. They have so many things already fixed that we are struggling with for decades.

Electricity, water, road network, industry, etc. We have none of this working.

Sure by standard of living and purchasing power Morocco is ahead but in terms of economic size and strength, cultural influence etc Nigeria is. The only reason Nigeria doesn't get as many tourists as Morocco is because of saftey issues and a lack of infrastructure. The electricity, water road etc is the fault of shit leaders and us who elect them. We have oil, Morocco has none yet they can do electricity, industry, etc and we can't manage even one. Nigeria makes me cry
