vanchi:One of the "G"s posted it earlier and I chose the region ever since though I have jot had "loose" data to spare for the upgrade. When version 11 gets rolled out, is it imperative to do factory reset after upgrade? |

Holla. Good morning Xiaomites... There is something I am not understanding... Tried to access https://us.i.mi.com/#/ and tried to locate my RN7 on it, it was saying no device was found. Tried to use "find my device" feature on the site after logging it with my email, but e o see my device. Tried to use the "find device" in phone settings and tried "secure device" my phone got locked and ditn get an option to unlock it (maybe unlock with email or password or something). The screen was unresponsive. Tried a reboot and even power off and power one, the phone ei work briefly for 10secs after I enter my sim pin and unlocked the phone, before it gets secured again. Had to launch the site on my other phone and clicked on "delete device" during which I got a warning my mi account will be looged off on the device, before I was able to gain control back... Question is.. Pls can anyone enlight me on what I didn't do right? Presently, it is stil telling me no device found when I tried "find device", mainwhile I logged in with my mi account and find device is active on the phone

Kelvo002:Is it that one with a semi circle design, with 4 dot lights arranged round the curve for indicator? I have bought 2 of it... Keep having charging port issues. The money wey I don spend on top "engineers" to fix the port, is enough to buy a new powerbank. The powerbank became ugly sef due to constant opening and super gluing Reason I want a digit display is so I can knw when the powerbank is about to get full, and one can discount it, to avoid overcharging. I dint trust the "anti-charge" mechanism on powerbank.. I have lost good powerbanks to overcharging. Can't take chances again |

okikiosibodu: For me I don't think it's necessary... An optimised update should be seamless... Not needing the user to factory reset their device |

eddyvicky001: I guess ur screen guard/tempered glass is the culprit, remove it and check again. Buy quality tempered glass from any of the touts here. |

eddyvicky001:brother.. there is no problem.. its ur screen guard.. remove it and your proximity sensor will start working. Gracias.. Redmi has its special screen guard make sure you find it. dont even use any Samsung green guard else it will affect the proximity sensor |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by GrandMufti: 8:13am On Oct 21, 2019 |
eddyvicky001: Check your proximity sensor settings or search playstore for any proximity sensor calibration app |
