this was the issue

they ask yorubas wat they call their neighbours to the east, they said bini from ile binu, they asked the idomas wat they call their neighbours they said tivs
the igalas named their neighbors igbos the igbos named their neighbours ijaw, igalas and idoma
etc
so also they asked the fulanis the name they called the people to their south, they said ya riba. the brits translated it to yoruba and mind u eko is a bini given to lagos not really that it was founded by them.
