My brother isn't up to that, i was in the same shoe before. Am finished from polythecnic ibadan, am also a computer engineer by profession. I apply several jobs but nothing comes out, no help from anyone to support, finance or even lend me to start my engineer work. I just talk to a brother last and he introduced me to a job of 8k monthly. I felt like going to heaven that day, but an instinct told me to accept the offer, which I later accept at my age (31), at least I feed myself and sort out some minor things. And I still continue to pray and struggle to get a better job. But I start from somewhere.

Firstly, if Nigeria is a normal society where things work, a graduate doesn't need to resort to that line of work if he's content with graduate entry level pay.
Secondly, an average graduate believes that he or she has spent more time getting educated and certificates than to start exactly where those who didn't pursue higher qualifications started. It feels naturally like all those years are wasted.
Thirdly, I hope all Nigerian undergraduates understand that our system and society is a messed up one and equip themselves with technical or business skills before they graduate. So, this becomes their lifelines the moment they graduate or finish NYSC

Abuja is an expensive place(home for the wealthy) though is a good place but business if you can package yourself real good; predominant jobs are construction and civil service, and also NGOs Location matters alot. I don't believe hard labour as a means of making money, I prefer using my brain, so bricklayer is a no no for me.

Doing hard labour after years of schooling doesn't look like the person actually learned anything that could make him or her different from the people who didn't attend higher institution. There should be all sorts of soft work one could easily fit into, the pay or income might not be much but it would still be better
