There's nothing to be sceptical about. It just a polite request for an update. It would help our planning for the future to a great extent.

I did too, d woman sounded like a secretary behind the desk. I do not think she's part of the recruitment team. But u cn still call sha, i cn be vry wrng, she may be wit al d answers

personally, I don't think sending a reminder mail to firstbank will change anything. perhaps they're already making arrangement for our batch to commence soon since the first batch just finished their training. Besides, I doubt there'll be any response from them no matter how many mails we bombard them with.

I'll suggest we all take a chill pill until when they're ready for us.

The silence is getting rather frustrating and to make proper plan sef is anoda case because one is not sure when the training will be but we are still keeping cool because ofcourse they said "in due course".

I would have sent the mail, but I believe First bank is an organization with integrity and will not want to dent their good image. Since we've been sent congratulatory mail and reassurance mail, I'm rest assured that we will be contacted very soon. Let our mind be at rest, let's not think too much about the recruitment, let's plan cos we are next in line for training school. But before then, let's engage ourselves in profitable ventures like voluntary jobs, get equip with more skills or improve on the ones we have, etc.

How I wish the date for TS can be communicated to us, our minds will be at rest.

Hello All!

It's very clear that the process is still ongoing from the attachment above. However, the response is still rather disturbing as the date to onboard the next set of graduate trainees is not even certain. It can be now, it can be later, it can be anytime. It can still be the rumoured 'next year '.

So, I guess, the best thing is to eliminate the thoughts of when we would resume and focus our minds on other endeavours, cause what will be, will be. It's the Nigerian factor that's coming into play here.

When FBN are ready for us, they would revert, just like they said. At this juncture, I rest my case and move my focus to other endeavours.

Its obvious the approval process is too lengthy, i already suspected the 'go-slow' is not the recruitment team's fault. Those dt finishd TS over a month ago ar stil waitin for thr posting letter and am sure it has to do with 'approval' too.

I already made 2 major decisions thinkin i wil b in TS by now but life is all about contingencies anyway.

As much as d mail suggests that d onboarding process cn kick off anytym, the hr team wil hv an idea of wen, it wil jst be unprofessional to disclose that info wich brngs me to the 'next year' rumour wich cn be very true.

So i guess the best frame of mind shld be to expect anytn bt nt soon (A possible D n M this year nd resumption nxt year).

Thanks for the update bro. I believe each day brings us closer to TS, and let's not forget that disclosure of a non-approved date is unprofessional considering the nature of the industry/ethics. I just pray the whole stuff gets tidied up soon. Almost a year already.

while we wait for a response from firstbank, I'll suggest we use this platform to share information that will be vital for us in training school.

For those of us who have friends that just finished TS, let's enquire from them what and what to expect- in terms of type of courses, number of courses, interval for test and exams, number of courses per day, other forms of assessment (if any) like dressing, punctuality, class participation and so on.

pls let's share some of these information on this platform in order to enhance our preparation for TS.

Conversion staff will be going to training school next week and the training will run for five weeks. So, ladies and gentlemen please zero your mind on training school this year. Hopefully by January they will be ready for us.
