Na person wey understand the perils of driving on a bad road na im fit talk like this. And probably her experience in bad roads with her car.

Sure boss, what really prompt me to post that was because of what I observed last week. New riders at lekki signed up on taxify for the sole purpose of using car as boat.

are people on rental still paying 30k even with the uber and taxify commission increase

A young guy posted few days ago ,that he makes 25k weekly after expenses. He drives part time and he also broke it down how he does it.. So my advice is get in touch with the man .. And he can direct you on how to reach your target .. Because I believe this young man does not have two heads. He has one head just like everybody else

I think this is a welcomed idea considering the low patronage on ground.

Sadly e-hailing has a lot of competition presently. The bikes are all over the place .
ofcourse,I stopped e hailing part time the day uber announced their 20 trips for 3 %,it's not just worth it anymore . Some people are still living in a bubble, coupled with the bad roads and flood ,it's just not worth that 30k a driver pays on rental,it's just slavery .

I know the reason for the low market lately is because of the recently sallah celebration, people are yet to receive salary to start taking Uber but that doesn't mean drivers should be pricing down rentals/hp like as if owners stole the car, if it was that easy owning a car, you would have yours already and not drive anyone's car.

My question to drivers is, If you own a car bought solely for Uber for about 2Million, will you give it out for 20,000 or 25,000?

Lazy drivers who cannot think outside the box in term of positioning and job ethic, Can't complain of bad car would rather want to short change owners and most owners who fall victim of these set of Nairaland drivers are women who know nothing about the business or men who bought cars for Uber but their 9-5 job wouldn't let them monitor thier investment closely. Jesusson was right after all.

Please I'll like to know what the requirements are to own a car at Uber and finding a driver too, and also what I should expect as weekly returns (A Toyota Camry thin light )

And you believe he makes that every week?

I understand your point and attempt to make the biz look lucrative as before, but you can't deny the fact that there are more drivers on the platform now, not even talking about Oride/Opay which has also taken reasonable chunk of the riders from uber/taxify. Recently, Gazzuzz said he had used Oride for like 20 times or so in that week, the same purpose for which he was using uber/bolt before.

Exactly, all those motivational speeches are just to momentarily excite you and often mislead one.

If it is by motivation, I don't know why Fela Durotoye, with his motivational speeches, couldnt motivate himself to becoming a president in the last election.

You are actually right. I never knew anyone could be so low to be opening several monikers just to convince people to do certain things.
Now I believe that there are jobless people on this thread and never ever believe any earnings from any new moniker, as it has been said severally but I never believed.
There has been so many 2020s on this thread and here you have wiseone2020 viewing.

I would have reccomended USA Castrol 5w30 13500 ..but am out of Castrol.. The amount I brought sold out like wild fire .. It was cheap and good alternative to the USA Mobil 1 .. But I have Mobil 1 Extended Performance with oil filter.. Mobil 1 is 17k and oil filter is 2k ... The same 2k u spend for oil filter at ladipo that you are not sure of the quality, is the same 2k that you buy from me that is import from the USA . So chose wisely

in that case, I don't think you should be able to reject trips.

Other professions don't pick and choose. Imagine if doctor accepts your appointment and then you show up and doctors says he doesn't want your case but you can afford to pay.
let's say Maybe he accepts d trip got robbed or flooded/hydrolocked his engine because he is soft hearted and decided not to reject your trip,
can you replace his stolen items? Or help fix his engine for free or even on credit??
