So many sentimental people here

Sometimes, they're not realistic at all. At other times, they're clueless.

People don't understand the difference between playing as a "defensive minded" team, and "defending well" as a team.

Now I see why there's always fire brigade here to put off flames of fights and arguments.

We have one of the best young attackers and wingers in the world, the second youngest team in the world, and some kids are saying we don't have the arsenal to attack.

Some of you don't get it. If Rohr had taken enough risks, we would have won Afcon. Believe me. But dude was too relaxed and comfortable. The result? Our opponent knew where to hit us, they knew when we are tired and gasping for breath, hence, we always concede goals in the second half because we always sit back and wait to be attacked, even with our offensive arsenal.

Don't mention Siasia or Imamma, or Sanusi, they all have their flows. Safe for Keshi, I'm not a fan of domestic coaches in Nigeria, they're too bias, tribalistic, corrupt, and sentimental. They handle the national team like their official business empire, hence we have failed woefully with domestic coaches.

Here's my point, we're too BLESSED offensively to be a defensive minded team, with a defensive mentality, and a defensive game plan.

We can attack and defend at the same time.

It will be a good move but utd is focusing on British players and the 2 major striking target they intend to get in the summer are haaland and dembele. Oshimeh is slightly linked to the club as a possible option though
Samueltemi337:
Manchester United will buy Osimeh January

Watch out

Lille players are relying too much on Osimhen for goals

They have to start chipping in their own

They need to rely more on Osimhen. If you watch their matches everyone will try to get going and when all fails they go to Victor. I want them to play through him because he actually has a wonderful football brain and will get his teammates more involved.

It makes them very easy to stop

The way the Valencia guy was talking about Osimhen shows they've already made plans for him

That is where the football brain of the young man come's to play. He will make the right decision more often than not. The opposite will be waiting on lille's inexistent build up that will always break in the midfield

Osimeh would score two goals today

Lille would win 2 - 1

Same way Chelsea team is younger, faster and less experienced but they don't rely on counter but play explosive footbal not minding the opponents. They will only fail a few times and get better. There is no gain in cowardice. Even bible said " Be anxious for nothing". Express yourself, you might fail a few times but you would be to sure learn and get better. I can never be a fan of Rohr's Conservative football.
Its weird how y'all compare club football to NT. The clubs have the week(s) to themselves perfecting strategy, playing games, correcting stuffs. Pray tell how this will be replicated when a team meets once in as many months?

That would give space to other attackers. This is why it should be plan A.

People always have complaints whether we win or lose. They have started filing their complaints for the Benin game

A) If we win - Why didn't he try new players for this small game

B) If we lose - Rohr is done grin

So do you think the opposing coach will leave Osimhen by himself if he isn't the primary option?

Lille don't have one single competent midfielder- In fact I would rather play Bamba and Ikone instead of those logs- so they have to take route one and play longs balls more often.

Nigerians don't know what they want, if he had gone offensive against Brazil and was hammered 5:0 the same people would be saying 'why didn't he have a good defense, why should we be beaten 5:0 by Brazil'

When I read their comments and I remember they're not in charge of the NFF I just thank God
As in ehhh

My friend you work with what you have. Using your anology, would Guardiola use the same offensive mindset if he was the manager to Shaffield United? We do not have world class players like we had in 1994. Players we have now are younger, faster and more suited for quick counter attacks. Until we get dependable, consistent midfielders that can work in tight spaces, I think Rohr should continue with team his build up.
God bless you sir.
