Hello,

I’d try to answer to the best of my knowledge - if I’m not correct anywhere, someone should please correct me.

1. To make you feel more comfortable perhaps you should just evaluate both? Also - are you applying for PNP or EE? I think this would influence which one you should use.

2. Yes you’d get points from your husbands ECA, but no points from his work experience especially if he is not the PA - best to include his work experience in the personal history bit (so I learnt)

I'm applying for EE but may look in the direction of PNP much later.

thanks, but since the soure is frm NUC, wont the result be likely same?[i/quote]

Well, there's no harm in trial. The reason for the negative evaluation by ICES was not clearly stated and I don't think it's as a result of using statement of result instead of certificate. So, I think you should make more enquiries from your institution to find out more.
Cheers.

The Lord is good and everything He does is perfect. I have come to testify my dear brethrens.

I wrote TEF in September 2018 and the result came out in November. CE-B1, CO-B1, EE-B1, EO-C1. It was after writing TEF that I now heard my PGD could give me some points. In fact I wanted to even rewrite the TEF sef because it gave me just 8 points. I don't even know what I was thinking then sef. SMH. See eh research is good abeg.

We just picked up the pieces and registered for 15th of December. This time around, I studied and studied and studied. Then we prayed and prayed. I wrote and result came out nicer. LRWS - 8.5,8,7,8
We thanked God and moved on.

Landing gist loading... Glory!!!!!!!

Congrats to a TEF sister......the 8 points sha added something to the CRS!

LOL @ "I studied and studied and studied....then prayed and prayed and prayed"....they kuku go hand in hand.

Kisses to baby and all the very best ma'am.

Please can you send me materials for CIMA? Also, is the certificate in business accounting regarded as 2 or more certificates?

Cryptomania:
It seems you guys are not getting @Tina26 point, You guys should leave miracles and faith on one side and work on how to increase your CRS scores by all means possible for those on the lower threshold. If you have the means, increase your scores while hoping for the best. It's safer to work towards meeting that high score than waiting for the scores to come down.

And the reality we don't want to accept is that these scores are never coming down to the way it used to be last year. Thank God PNP route is giving some people hope now.

The point is try to increase your scores any way possible rather than hoping it comes down. If you can't increase it anymore, then you hope and pray.

just caught up with the thread and i could see how @Tina26 was stressing on the need to increase your score if you have the options rather than hoping. majority didnt get the point but I fully understood this. am on 450 CRS and i can still raise it to 459, have booked ielts to make up this score. my birthday is coming again in next 6 months undecided

I know how tiring it is when you want to up your CRS score but its better to act than hope. I remain hopeful but I cant afford to sit and see people claim ITA while i sit on the gear of hope. I wrote ielts 8 times to get the needed score. I will advice anyone here who still have an option with that exam to retake it. am full of confidence right now and I believe I'll max out to take me to 459. A friend of mine once discouraged me not to write the exam again, telling me after 8 times that you were able to get the appropriate score you still want to write again? I said YES to him. only if you can dash me the 9points am looking for then i wont write again, He laughed it off.

so my point is dont be discouraged, exhaust all the options you can, you cant predict what the CRS would be next year. @Tina26 have said it all.

I guess its because of the interest rate...T.bills has higher rate than FD.

Good day, kudos to everyone on this platform for wonderful info people are giving out. i am interested to work and live in canada, i had 3 kids. i dont the angle where I can start from. in short I hold HND in mechanical engineering and PGD in energy management(in view). am aware of express entry for skilled workers, but i don't know which one I can start with between PNP and FSWP where i can present my profile for provincial nomination.
