Well, he fits the coach's profile of Young and talented potential . But he did not meet up with one important criteria, which is he's not British grin

I very much doubt your proposition, that being young and having potential is the only criteria needed.

First question recruitment will ask, can he adapt to the EPL.

They need a goal scorer tried and tested and one that will hit the ground running NO DELAYS NO QUESTIONS.

Many strikers have come from the top European leagues with experience and pedigree but it did not always result in the expected success.

I remember Falcao and Memphis both had far better pedigree than Osimhen and had been established top performers in thier respective leagues and clubs.

But fell very short of expectations at United.

IMO he needs another season in the French league to establish himself and improve then make the move. A move to United in January could see him make a lot of money but have his career stagnated.

I simply don't think he has got to the level required for United and the expectations will be too much.

For now he should remain in lille for atleast 1 or 2 seasons.

I simply don't think he has got to the level required for United and the expectations will be too much.

And dis reminds me of KANU nwankwo in Portsmouth... He scored in 9games consecutively and acted d 10th game, his goal dried up till d last or penultimate game of d season and scored anoda one to make it just 10 in DT season, wen we tot he would b one of d highest goal scorer dt year in premiership... I hope village ppu no go do dt for osimhen grin

Its not village people. When you score like that, you become a prime target for defenders and you may even get double marked. He just needs to adapt and become less predictable. That's all

Falcao is almost not always fit so remove him ,if he’s that bad he won’t play for Chelsea and man united on loan ,he was recovering from a long term injury and use the Epl to gain fitness

You said you don’t think if osimhen have the level required for United and the expectation will be much ? Yes he expectation might be much if the transfer fee will be big ,but pls don’t bring level here ,I can’t even see any world class player in that team apart from de gea and pogba, even Leicester looks like a better team than united

Bad belle, they are all world class players. We just need to sack Rhor and employ Amunike who will release the shackles and play free flowing attacking football you go see how we go dey destroy teams anyhow

Victor osimhen won a red card against valencia a Valencia defender brought him down and the valencia player was sent off valencia were reduced to 10 men and this made lille win the match
So his general contribution was very good even if he didn't score. It show he is hardworking and coaches value that
