Isn't it funny that some people tout our team, which is made up of young players with prospect, as one of the very best, such that they should come against some of the best, like Brazil, and weaken them so easily with attacking football?

If i may ask, who are these world class players we have?...young Osimhen, Chukwueze or Kalu, who are neither at their peak nor established?...Could it be Iwobi, Aribo, Etebo, who are the the midfielders whose prowess Rohr is subverting? How about our defenders?...which one is exactly world class, abeg? So they should have just kept attacking the stronger and more experienced Brazillians so in the end, if they'd get thrashed, same Nigerians would bash them and the coach?

The way some people keep talking... You'd think they're over excited at these our young players springing up with potentials. While we should praise and encourage them, we should also bear in mind that they are not 'there' yet; they need more time to get better(as they are rightly doing), rather than putting unnecessary pressure on them, cos they're bound to make mistakes ocassionally.

please don't mind him...
that Barcelona group so far look like one of the strongest .......

Slave Prague...is so good, they really play Barcelona yesterday and were not timid.

I think it is high time we stop judging players by the club/league they plays....I will prefer invite a player from Slava Prague than Lille OSC to be honest....
(just trying to explain why players in such league shouldn't be ignored a because it is not too 5 league in europe)

for Yinka to play for that team and he is the only black player in the starting 11 self...shows that he is talented and rated higher...
that team is good to be honest and Yinka deserve to always fetch super eagles call ups.

he even had a great attempt at goal...and almost scored self...

Did you watch the match?

I think Nigeria should stop participating in CHAN and WAFU. It's useless and they are always undermining the efforts of Rohr in building our fifa ranking. Besides, they fail to unearth any talents so far angry
how do you know no talents what unearth? because we fail to progress?

Very sexy. Abia gave akwa so much trouble at the end of the season. For the first time we were happy with a draw at home grin I hope they continue that trajectory this season.

I think they are going back to the original set up which I am totally against btw.

Why change a winning formula? Last season was so dope, the only thing I want will be more time for the super 6

Former Arsenal starlet Kelechi Nwakali is training with the Dream Team VII ahead of the 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that the SD Huesa midfielder was among the players that took part in Thursday's morning training session at the National Stadium training pitch, supervised by Coach Imama Amapakabo and his assistants.

Nwakali was influential as the Olympic Team qualified for the tournament in Egypt, playing in the qualifiers against Libya and Sudan.

The Diamond and ASJ Academy product won the Golden Ball at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup and the following year he was promoted to the Flying Eagles squad that failed to qualify for the 2017 U20 World Cup.

Defending champions Nigeria kickoff the U23 AFCON when they battle Ivory Coast on November 9, then face Zambia on November 12 and finish the group stage against South Africa on November 15.

The U23 AFCON will determine the three countries that will represent Africa at the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan.

pls who else thinks Villarreal are being mean and unfair to Chukwueze?
I just heard they gave him a new contract and increased his buy out to M100€,? undecided
this is too much on the young boy, it's obvious they don't want him to move to a bigger club.

And who is his manager it's seems the greedy man only cares about his pocket than the boys future

Buyout clause don't mean shit. Clubs only make buy out clauses to be high so that the players won't be priced for peanuts when big clubs come for them.
They do it so that they can have an upper hand during negotiation. If Chukwueze wants to move, Villareal can't see more than 50million.

OK thanks for explaining, I think the 50 is fair enough. Anything above that is too much abeg and it will put un Necessary Pressure on the boy.

I am watching Partizan vs Manchester United, l don't expect them to win. Indeed Mango should flog them.

But l really want to see how much Sadiq Umar has improved or not as the case maybe. Early days but he has already fallen over.

Let me give him 45 minutes at least.
