Hello ma. You can register anytime you want but its usually adviced to do so early so your pregnancy can be monitored by your chosen doctor(s). I registered before I was 8wks. As regards the travelling by road, I really don't know what to advice here other than be careful. I almost miscarried because of stress. Hopefully, other experienced mothers will be able to give better advice. Wish you smooth pregnancy and delivery.

Since you will be doing a lot of road travel, I will only say be safe, drink enough water to stay hydrated, register early so you can be monitored, the roads are bad, if public transport, don't sit at the end of the bus, you will feel the impact of the portholes more..wear something free, trust ur instincts, and more especially pray like never before. God will never fail you.wishing you a healthy and stress free pregnancy..cheers dear

Hello mama, congratulations. You can register for antenatal as early as possible or better still go see a doctor and discuss your travelling everytime.

It's always advisable to limit stress in pregnancy especially your first trimester (1st 3 months).

Good evening mamas, I want to comment on the garden egg leaves, they are very good and has been used in my family for years to boost Pcv. Mine was 30 last 2 Wednesdays and by taking a glass of squeezed garden egg leaves juice, it had become 36.3 by Saturday, 3days later.

So I think mamas should take it, it was also advised in my antenatal

Those who sell vegetables sell it too. It is called anara leaves too. Don't have a ready pix. I am in the East and it's readily available here cos it's in season.

Look for fresh ones, you can blend and sieve if you don't have strength to squeeze out juice

No need of squeezing or blending or sieving it ...just wash it with salt like 3 times and chew is sweet .

I can chew like 500 naira own in 30 mins

Please if you've done the test and it's confirmed you have malaria treat it, it's not good for the baby.
But please confirm the drugs/injections to take from your doctor, not all drugs are safe in pregnancy depending on how far gone you are.
Fansidar is anti malaria, to prevent malaria. Not for the treatment of malaria

Mama, let's not over think things. They are all the same. Antimalarials prevent...treat...cure malaria. Sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine/Fansidar cures malaria.

Everyone is entitled to visit a doc in person anyways.

Well just sharing my views based on what I was told by a doctor, I'm not one
Let's always confirm from our doctors, they know best.

Hello everyone, please I have come again oo. I just did another pcv today and is now 27% (it was 24 b4) despite all my efforts (my routine drug, blood tonic) I found it difficult to take ugwu with milk, it makes me purge. Am 35weeks now and hubby insisted we go and buy blood cos my 1st pregnancy, it was low also and I was advised to get the blood then. Now we are using different hospital and the doctor said I should not worry. What should I do? Should I follow doctor's advice or hubby's own.
ma,is good to give ur best, but I tell u that the best u can give is trust in God,for the sake of some mamas here that might twist my comment I won't say much, routine drugs and co,is God that put that baby in u,is not even ur effort that did it,do the little u can,and trust God,blood low, high, for this baby,u must bring it forth.is well with u

register where u are based, explain to the nurses ur work schedule, missing some antenatal days is not wrong. I stay in enugu,I can assist in the little way I can,if u need any help.
