QPR Ebere Eze Ask For More Time Before Committing His Future To Nigeria After Talks With Rohr

England youth international and QPR midfielder Ebere Eze has requested for more time to be given to him before he can decide on representing Nigeria at senior level , Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Rohr spoke with the midfielder few days ago about teaming up with the Super Eagles for the AFCON 2021 Qualifiers games against Benin Republic and Lesotho respectively but he felt the move came too sudden.

Eze reportedly told the coach he will need time to decide on the offer, which means he could miss out on a chance to play for Nigeria next month. His answer came as a shock to the coach judging by the fact that he trained with the Super Eagles in 2017, a year before he played for England at U20 level.

Despite not committing his future to Nigeria yet, reports has it that Eze could accept an invitation to play for England U21 which will complicate his chances of playing for Nigeria as he will now require a clearance from FIFA as the next game for the England youth team is a competitive fixture.

” Eze has spoken with Rohr but no decision has been made on his inclusion in the team for the upcoming games. I think he knows if he plays in the game he’s committed to Nigeria for life as it’s a competitive game.
“However we are hoping he makes up his mind on time before the squad list is released. If he decide to stick with England where he is about to be called up to their U21 team base on what we heard then we wish him all the best”, a chieftain of the Nigeria Football Federation

if he eventually choose to go for England...we wish him the best.

I am waiting for the one amongst them that'll regret this England antics at the end......

England will keep deceiving them but deep down even the English FA knows they can't absorb them all...

few will gain from it but many will suffer for it...

Just imagine a championship player trying to prove stubborn. Komekn and Chriskel were trowing tantrum at the NFF and rorh as if Ebere eze is a world class player.

I pray this news is not true if not i will feel very disappointed.

so unfortunate....some of them will end up as reference point for upcoming players....
on reason why they should think twice before snubbing the SE for the 3Lions....

I am really disappointed with this development....

'He Reminds Me Of Sunday Oliseh' - Some Fans Hail Mikel After Starring Against Arsenal
Published: October 25, 2019

'He Reminds Me Of Sunday Oliseh' - Some Fans Hail Mikel After Starring Against Arsenal Vitória de Guimaraes made life difficult for Arsenal in their Europa League clash on Thursday night but the Premier League side managed to beat the Portuguese club 3-2.

The visitors were 2-1 up at the break with Marcus Edwards and Bruno Duarte scoring in the 9th and 27th minute respectively while exciting Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli found the net for the Gunners in the 32nd minute.

Arsenal avoided disaster when second half substitute Nicolas Pépé netted two sensational free-kicks to earn Unai Emery's three points.

Nigeria international Mikel Agu was one of the key players for Vitória de Guimaraes, who were on the brink of causing an upset.

Mikel can take solace in the fact that he held his own against Arsenal midfielders Matteo Guendouzi, Daniel Ceballos and Lucas Torreira and, of course, there was nothing he could do to prevent Pepe from scoring the two goals.

Some fans were delighted with the performance of the Vitória de Guimaraes number 24 and took to Twitter to share their thoughts :

@War_ina_babylon : ''Vitoria Guimarubbish at holding on to a lead. Silly mistakes cost them. Love Mikel Agu's general play. Seems like a natural Central Defender to me. Movement was fantastic. Beautiful to watch.''

@alexqueiros : ''Tapsoba and Mikel Agu are bossing the defence and midfield.''

@Buchi_smallzy : ''Mikel Agu with an important clearance tho! He’s having a good game''.

@Samdoe22 : ''Mikel Agu masterclass against Arsenal.''

@tedym1 : ''Nice watching Mikel Agu yesterday against Arsenal. He reminds me so much of Sunday Oliseh except Oliseh's passing range is much better''.

@Bra_Ferron : ''Special mention for the great game that Mikel Agu, Davidson, Poha, Tapsoba and Venancio had. The Vitória is a team to follow...''

@nonsooka4 : ''Mikel Agu bossing the middle''.

saw earthquake post stating ndidi making rash decisions and agu protecting back line
ndidi Is more of calm and protects the backline that's why a lot of you crticize him for being too defensive and doesn't offer anything forward
Don't forget kante hunts for the ball and relieves the backline than than protecting the backline
Ndidi's foul caused a goal at the world cup , yes we know but it doesn't mean he does rash tackles
ndidi amount of tackles compared to fouls conceeed will show you how discipline the guy is even more than agu
Has just a yellow card this season for leceister
About him not replicating his performance for Nigeria, do we have the same players?
when puel decided to patner him , it didn't bring out the best in him
but see him flourishing under Rodgers
If kante was playing for his original country, will his work be noticed?
Another thing is that we Nigerians don't actually notice defensive midfielders
if chukwueze scores 2 goals , who will y'all talk of ndidi?
leceister winning 5 nil against Newcastle with ndidi MOTM despite vardy having a brace with the commentator saying ndidi is sure to collect the awesome even before he scored shows how England analyses ever player
ndidi MOTM award against Burundi was criticized cos most were expecting ighalo to win cos of the goal he scored or olà Aina because of his sleek assist
until we saw his stat
pls let's start posting Ndidi's stat for Nigeria and see if he has really been average
Do African commentators take note of defensive players?
Ndidi is a silent worker and most times we notice him is when he does mistake
The most annoying part is the pass issue when most people says he can't pass just because he keeps his pass simple or he doesn't hold on on the ball for too long
Mind you he starts most counter attacks for both leceister and Nigeria
Just because he is 100 percent local Nigerian and we didn't fight for him

A PROHET IS NEVER APPRECIATED ON HIS HOMELAND

Ndidi is worldclass abeg!!

Joe that price can't be for the better for the boy, let's face the truth the price too heave for him, villlareal are just being greedy and selfish I feel this is an indirect way of tYing him him down to hIm down to the club.
No club will pay that amount for him.. Even 70M is too much on him, it will only bring him unneccesary pressure as he is will be trying to match up with the price in performance.

On the contrary, I think Villareal sees room for massive improvement in Chukwueze and will become a toast for big clubs in search of quality player. I see him being worth 70m in the near future.

But ebere eze first choice is playing for England because he is sure of getting an Epl move soon

If he is going badly he would have consider Nigeria immediately

You guys that have been shouting for rohr to cap him ,it’s still useless capping a player with friendly games ,the right time to cap him is afcon qualifier and I don’t know if he will be interested or not

I'm talking about now, they need to let him go, that boy will do well more than many young attackers in epl.
Rashford , lingard and Co.
he needs exposure...
Do u know why they benched him last week? I heard He initially refused the new contract , so they played him only 8mins last week to send him indirect message. "let's see how u will attract big club when u no play and become match rusty" so that's why the boy quickly signed the contract this week
Unfortunately this is what many African born players are suffering. Because they feel Afterral they are helping us

Chukwueze was not bench last week because of contract issues okay

He is regular doesn’t mean he will start all games

He has come from the bench also this season

Do you realize chuks was coming from the international break where he played against Brazil unlike others Villarreal players ?
