Those 2(in bold), which are subset of math 55 is about the hardest and most dreaded math course in the world !!
...a course that would require u to produce more than 20 pages for just a single problem set !!
U can watch a full movie in the time it will take u to even manage to solve the simplest math 55 problem !!
Some of the facts about the course will shock u to the nerves !!

https://bestlifeonline.com/math-55-harvard/

The course alone has been described by many as a really very tedious and difficult full time job PLUS MUCH MORE !! wink cheesy grin

I only made reference to it to tell that 'olodo guy' that even the best A grade in AEM(advanced Engineering maths) is nothing, let alone that from sec/college.(wasce)
Success is NEVER measured or determined by those stuffs.

Bill gates who took and passed the said course(math 55) @ Havard was a school drop out @ some point... but later grew to become the richest man in the world !!

@meshpips should learn to use his sixth-sense.
...there is need to always imbibe SIMPLICITY and HUMILITY albeit with COMMITMENT in our day to day life.
While the 1st 2 proceeds CREATIVITY, the last when backed with FOCUS has the sure link to PRODUCTIVITY.

At times when i read all this oyinbo quote i just laugh. i always say to myself that if they were investing in NSE at the time they wouldn't have made all these quotes because they would have been dealt with.

Even the likes benjamin graham, warren buffet et al. that are long term players would just wake up one day and realize their investment is gone or has become worthless..... grin grin

Warren buffet doesn't play in our own kind of market.....
I doubt if there is any stock on NSE that will meet his investment criteria.

They were already part of the "chop-up" gang before they decided to acquire more shares. I really don't see how the extra shares they purchased made any difference for them (unto back door chippings).

I could be wrong though.

You are absolutely right my brother, their market was also once, less developed,a lot of irregularities, manipulations, just like we have now in our market, that is why i laff too when people try to adopt some form of concentration strategy which the likes of warren buffet and charlie munger are adopting now,in their present well developed market.it is difficult to use those methods in our kind of market which is just coming up.That is why sufficient diversification /portfolio rebalancing, is key in a less developed market like ours.
All the same i have been humbled and guided by some of these quotes in my little years of investing. grin

There is absolutely,no stock that can meet up to that criteria, for people like that capital preservation is key,so even if a stock here is close to the criteria, the Nigerian economy as a whole is actually far from it.
Infact someone like Jack Bogle during his days does not even believe in investing outside US market, because he believes most markets outside US are not well regulated
