Thank you for the bolded compliment.

Danielnino00:

I swear to God, you are the first person I know to call Brendan Rodgers a genius grin .
I'm not so surprised cus he plays attacking football..
like I said early, his player management skill is damn poor.. What kind of "genius" can't find a good replacement for his best player Suarez who left?
Do you know how many talented players he had at his disposal at Liverpool that he couldn't manage? Nuri Sahin..Suso..Origi(thanks to Klopp, his career would have died), Lallana,Iago Aspas,Luis Alberto,etc,etc....

Its best you relax bro
Just hope that Rodgers would be fair enough to give Nacho another chance and Nacho himself would make good use of it,cus trust me,Brendan Rodgers isn't the type of manager that has the patience to develop players like the real genius (Klopp,Pep,Poch,Ferguson, Simeone ,etc)

I was almost lynched for calling Brendan Rodgers one of the geniuses of the game.

When you guys understand that most of my comments come from indepth study, you will cease mocking. Not always right but a lot of thought put into it.

I salute Rodgers and his crew. Just brilliant.

How are you helping their international career?

Why cant naija leave them to decide?

Why wont they behave this way when they see how desperate we are and our asslicking

And that is how Ebere Eze would end up with the 3 lions

Okay oooo...........Good luck to them sha

Super Eagles Too Big To Be Treated As Plan B – Rohr Shut The Door On Tomori

The chances of Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori playing for Nigeria still remains valid after his bench role for the Three Lions of England in the last round of international games where they played against Czech Republic and Bulgaria respectively.

Tomori was an unused substitute in both games that would have tied him to the English team permanently as both games were competitive fixture. Playing in any of them would have ended his chances of switching allegiance to Nigeria.

His bench role means he is still available for selection for the senior national team of Nigeria if he is called up although the process will take at least a year to be approved by FIFA.

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has however ruled out the chances of that happening insisting that his team have moved on from Tomori since he made public his decision to play for England.

” He pick where he is comfortable and we wish him all the best with England. No point thinking we can have him back as it will be dangerous if we allow players view our team as second option when all fails, I think we are bigger than that. I hope he succeeds with England “, Rohr said.

Nice one from Rohr. With him on this.

And should Ebere Eze do the same, the same treatment should be meted out to him....and to all who see us as second option

TheGoodJoe:

I have always been an advocate for the style of play making a big impact on the quality of players. Brendan Rodgers will bring the flair to Leicester City and with the likes of Ndidi and Nacho working hard daily to adopt and imbibe the system, I see them improving.

Brendan Rodgers is a tactical genius. Having a poor management record does not make him less of a genius.

Do not think because Iheanacho is not playing means he is not improving. It is impossible to train daily in such environment and not improve.

Praying for the best for Nacho. He needs to put his head down and keep learning. He will get his chance soon. It may not be at Leicester City but when the chance comes, he should take it.

Andrew, I know that it is easy to get carried away when one is being courted by England. I mean, they are a developed country and have a very strong footballing brand with rich history in the game.

However, I still expect these foreign born Nigerians to use their head when making decisions and to be very decisive once they do so. No fence sitting. England have a history of not really playing these Nigerians that end up declaring allegiance to them (bar Dele Alli). What good does it do to one's international career to just sit on the bench and then sooner fade out of the team.

All in all, good luck to them

Which heartbreak?

If he ends up declaring for England, he won't be the first or the last and the sun would still rise in the east and set in the west. The earth will still rotate about its axis and revolve round the sun. So, what does it change. We move on to the next one wink smiley
