What's Your Take On The 2020 Proposed Budget? by Nobody: 11:24pm On Oct 25, 2019 |
Just as the topic implies, President Buhari presented an estimated budget of N10.33 trillion with an assumed oil price interval @ $57-61 per barrel. Before I even saw the budget, I knew it would be running on a deficit balance. Meaning, our proposed expenses would be more than our proposed revenue. Why won't that be when we spend too much on irrelevance? Our senators salaries are enough to even make the budget run on a deficit. Well, this question is two in one. Firstly, tell us what you noticed about the budget. Could be negative or positive. Secondly, I am not a Buharist, but I think this border closure has done more good than harm to the Nigeria's economy. At least, our infant agricultural produce industries(rice) will use this opportunity to grow before it's opened. Though, such decisions are usually felt by the common man the most, but it's for our own good. This is the first time I am supporting Buhari. With that said, what's your objective take on it?
