Lagos was Nigeria capital until 90s when southern forces tried to overthrow Abacha.So you can say from 1960s till 1995 or around..most oil money ended in Lagos..hence the grievances of the south east that generate most of the oil.

You were at around 57% but with a population twice Kenya's, south Africa was around 90% but with half your population, kenya was at 88%.. Now this comes to mind. When they sum up all the wealthy cities by population you guys takes it. So that clearly shows that when it come to ranking of poorest countries Nigeria will still take the crown.
