I can't say anything for certain right now. Lampard is a manager with less than 18 months under his belt, so one cannot objectively assess his pattern although early signs indicate the latter. Someone who will groom players but you can't tell his philosophy.

Ferguson actually had a consistent system for a very long time which was the 442. He usually played an attacking system with two strikers up front.
If you noticed, I usually paired the words philosophy with system.
Ferguson might not have had a defined philosophy but he had a consistent system upon which he was successful, success which needed a lot of time to nurture.

I also believe Lampard will be successful, I just hope the time for that success to materialize will be short and not so long.

This is what I was warning against few days ago, our current form might make people lose sight of the teams deficiencies and start setting a high standard for this team only to become massively dissapointed if and when a slump begins.

While the team looks good, people are forgetting Ajax is the only big team we've won and also our defense isn't solid enough yet to mount a serious challenge.

As for me, I just take every result as I see it while being very happy with team developments.
