Daad.de bro, with proper search there you would get what you want within minutes

Yet to understand this website.

If every course on the pages are free, why do we still have tuition fees in the requirements?

You can go for MSc Informatics, MSc Data Science, MSc Data Analytics, MSc Data Engineering and Analytics and that's the sexiest job of the 21st century. Many schools here are offering them and they're not difficult to find on DAAD website.

Are all the courses on DAAD free?

Yes.

I've gone through it.

Are the courses listed on the search pages free?

If YES, why do they have "tuition fees" in the requirements?

Anything less than 3.0 Nigerian scale the chances of gaining admission will be very slim except you have more than the required work experience

glopatra:

First of all don't worry too much about you cgpa your gradein German scale is 2.3 which is higher than the 2.5 minimum requirements from most German schools.

Secondly your work experience would come handy if you desire to apply for courses in telecoms (just make sure you package your Cv very well, use Google to see samples of how telecom Engineers package their Cv). And if you are using uniassist make sure you add your employment documents and recommendation letter from your work place if possible to beef up your applications).

For schools, Uni Bremen is a nice school and they use job experience as part of their admission assessment criteria for that CIT course you are interested in. Also check Uni Kassel, Cologn uni of applied sciences, Kempten uni of apolied sciences, TU Chemitz. Winter is already gone but you can just go to daad.de to start searching against summer.

Finally since your undergraduate study is not Elect/Elect, in your motivation letter try to highlight the electronics/communications courses you did and focus more on your job experience as your selling point.

Why not contact uniassist via their contact form and explain your challenges to them. On the new portal you see this *question mark* sign on the same heading where u see ur username and applicant number... Just click on the question mark and choose the suitable form for contact....

What i would just say is admission restricted courses are courses in which the university have a set quota for the admission period (either winter or summer). In this restricted courses applicants are admitted based on highest grade. For example, if the lowest German grade of all applicants is 2.4 that means those that have 2.3, 2.2, 2.1, 2.0, 1.9, to 1.4 will be considered for admission... Importantly, the university will not start the admission processing until after the application deadline. Hence this may delay you getting admitted and booking for student visa appointment date since admission takes longer time...

As for not restricted courses (open admission). These courses considered all applicants for admission! There's no set quota neither grade is strictly considered.. Nevertheless some universities may set 3.0 German grade as benchmark for unrestricted courses..

The advantage for unrestricted courses (open admission) is admission processing start almost immediately you applied (either directly on the university online application or after uniassist had sent your application) and you get admitted within short time (even before the application deadline) if found qualified.

Note that the highest grade for German gp is 1.0 while Nigerian is 5.0. You will need to consult Google on how to do the conversion.

All the story above is already explained on your intended universities website if only you can read extensively...

Are you referring to bachelor or master program? I think we need to be clear about our explanation so that we don't end up confusing and discouraging people. I think this is subjective.

I think people should stop all this childish act on this thread, you all should remember when you are New on this thread as well, so many people were referred to this thread by one or two people So when they ask Question if you don't know the answer just keep Quiet and Let people who want to reply answer them instead of Abusing the New people on this thread. We know that you understand everything about German waka, talk to people with Respect and politely. God bless you all.

You don't need to send another documents if you had sent before. Uniassist documents retention is 1-2 years as stated on their website.

Yes you will be require to pay €75 for the first university application in an any application period (either winter or summer)

All this information is on uniassist website.. Please read and be informed.

I don't think anyone can tell you what to study, we don't know your capabilities, your career goals etc. So go on DAAD/Wikipedia/Google and do your research, don't just choose a course based on name, go on the school's website and look at the course modules and honestly ask yourself if you can study it.

DAAD is like Germany's Ministry of Education, their website provides every information about studying in Germany and schools and courses.
Uniassist is an organisation that helps German Universities process foreign applications ie applications where the certificates were not obtained in Germany. Not all German universities are under Uniassist, but for those under Uniassist you have to apply to the school via Uniassist.
