Don't bother quoting certain statements bro.

Same Henderson equalized yesterday and Milner got us a goal and assist against Leicester.

I guess Klopp is really dumb to be fielding crappy players.

I am aware he played some of them. Point remains the lad is new to the team and is a very fine prospect from what I have found out on my own.

I don't think that was a back four all through. Tijani for sometime in the first half slotted in between the two CBs but staying slightly ahead of them while Etim and Adeniyi joined the Midfield on the sides.

Ojediran was the CM while Opeyemi was the AM.

In attack, I.Said played from the right. Ubani from the left and Olakunle through the middle. Olakunle sometimes interchanged with Ubani and Said.

Etim is a right footer playing LB/LWB. Ofcos he was going to struggle in that first game. He was average but I hope he steps up. He was really the weak link on the day.

tbaba1234:

So it happens that Peter Olawale played some of the friendlies in Brazil. He is also known as Ukeme.

They played a back 4 not a back 3. Adeniyi was RB, Etim played LB, Ikenna and Usman were the CBs

Tijani, Ojediran and Opeyemi were in the middle. Tijaji was deepest.

Said, Ubani, Olakunle were strikers.

I have seen reports of a back 3 but i watched the game multiple times, And it was clear to me that it was a back 4.

Etim looked like a weak spot but lets hope he improves.

As he continues his journey to recovery from that horrific injury involving his ACL, let us remember today is our Super boy's day. His Birthday.

Happy Birthday Francis Odinaka Uzoho. Wishing you long life, a continuous positive climb in your club and NT career and a smooth speedy recovery.

Have a good one lad. smiley

He may not but will definitely make the bench.

I feel guardiola was too hasty in selling him. He could have covered up for them now that they have injury woes. He is a utility player

Hungary had one tactics going into the game... score and park the bus. It was so glaring in that match because I saw 8 players defending almost throughout the time they led. It was after we led that they started coming out to play and eventually got caught on the counter attacks. The same tactics USA deployed against Senegal.

Anyway, our boys struggled against that tactics throughout the game, not untill Amoo came in and changed the game. Jaabar also contributed to penetrating from the wing. That's What Ubani struggled to do.

I wondered why he was allowed to play on the wing when he's known to be better as a striker.

Since, team already knew how we play and would want to park bus, It's better Ubani starts as a striker because we will need to play long balls into the box if we can't penetrate through tik taka.

However, i like the way they changed the pattern of their game after they discovered they could not penetrate the Hungarian defence. Unlike, Amunike team that is one dimensional.

Kelechi has also scored freekicks, he's quality.

I remeber when Naby Keita was also a point last season, and it was because of his injury that he got pitied.....Pepe has no such excuse, and Arsenal doesn't have time.

If they were in such a rush they should have bought Wilfred Zaha. What they have is a young man who needs time. He is already showing glimpses, his corners led to their 2 goals and if that winner wasn't cancelled it would have been 3.

If Amunike wants to succeed, he needs to have second option else his team will struggle against team that park the bus.

Why do you think we were kicked out of the U20 qualifiers?

Guardiola em papa don learn this.

CD Leganes Interim Coach Gives Reasons Why Omeruo Was Dropped From Matchday

Kenneth Omeruo was surprisingly dropped from CD Leganes matchday squaSquad d when they faced RCD Mallorca on Saturday though the Nigeria international was pictured undergoing training with his teammates a day before the meeting at Municipal de Butarque.

Leganes interim manager Luis Cembranos lined up with two central defenders in Dimitrios Siovas and Unai Bustinza, a departure from the tactics of ex-coach Mauricio Pellegrino, who usually played with three center backs.

Explaining why Omeruo and Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri were not in the squad vs Mallorca, Cembranos told reporters post-match : ''I have chosen the best eighteen. It wasn't just the physical, the technical and the tactical. It was also the mental.

''I have tried to select the best to compete and suffer today, to be closer to getting a victory.

“We have taken a step forward, convincing ourselves, believing a little more in what we are doing. It is an important turning point to continue growing as a team. Let's see where we get.''

Siovas suffered an injury against Mallorca and it remains to be seen if Chidozie Awaziem, who came off the bench to replace the Greek defender in the last game, will be picked over Omeruo when Leganes face Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Well if I were to choose between Pepe and Iwobi, I'd pick Pepe easily as I know what he can give when he fully adapts.
Dude has the most key passes and dribbles in the team. He is adapting very slowly but the talent is not in doubt.
I would pick Iwobi . Pepe is good no doubt but iwobi will offer something more to this current arsenal team. Although, am not writing off pepe yet. He seems to me someone who is willing to do more.

Osimhen Allays Injury Fears, Ready For Super Eagles Vs Benin, Lesotho

Lille forward Victor Osimhen has allayed fears he could miss Nigeria’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double header against Benin and Lesotho as a result of injury, reports Completesports.com.

Osimhen sustained an abductor injury in Lille’s 3-O home win against Girondis Bordeaux on Saturday.

The 20-year-old was replaced by Loic Remy in 58th minute of the encounter.

The former Wolfsburg of Germany striker took to the social media to provide update on the injury.

”I’m fine, it’s just a minor injury issue, thanks brother,”Osimhen replied centre-back, Kenneth Omeruo who asked a question on the severity of the injury.

Osimhen has scored seven goals and recorded two assists in 11 league games for Lille this season.

The Super Eagles will host neighbours Benin on November 14 in their opening AFCON 2021 qualifying fixture and then face Lesotho in Maseru five days later.

There is a Japanese U17 boy, he's name is Joel Chima Fujita.

I think he's of Nigerian descent, you guys should look it up.

Pepe has better end product than Iwobi. The ball carrying ability Iwobi would offer is/should be filled up by Ceballos.
The idea was Iwobi at LW and Pepe at RW when one of Auba/Laca isn't around.
While I'm disappointed Iwobi left, I wouldn't have kept him if it meant not signing Pepe.

Yes he is of Nigerian descent. I've known about him long before now. He featured against our boys in a friendly days before the U-17 WC kicked off on Saturday.

Meanwhile, he is not the only African born featuring for them. Their #1 goalie is of Ghanaian descent. Zion Suzuki is his name.

In any case, like Earthquake just advised. Let's keep the focus on our own 21 players in Brazil shall we. wink

I think we should start looking at Manu Garba as a prospective Super Eagles coach in future after Gernot Rohr bows out. The guy is good and read games well. He will also help to breed young footballers to become professional stars. All we need to do is create the right environment for him and pay him on time to avoid.... If you know what I mean...
