Manu what? Are you joking?

The only reason I don't want Many as Super Eagles coach is corruption and other criminal activities that seem to be inherent in all Local coaches. Apart from that, he seems better tactically and technically than Rohr and his assistants.

We have 23 Nigerian players in Brazil

Focus on them

That doesn't mean we can't appraise other players as well

Brazil are the favorites to win the U-17 WC and they most likely will

U17 tournaments are not so predictable.

They have Nigerian heritage, nothing wrong in mentioning them. They are potentially super eagles players in the future.

Other countries monitor their players playing for other countries. For instance Zelalem played for Germany under 17 but US under 20/23.

There are 3 other Nigerian heritage players. 2 in the US team, 1 in the French team.

Did Germany develop Zalelem for the USA? Did Spain develop Messi for Argentina? Messi was developed in Spain and could have played for Spain, he has spanish citizenship.

Let Nigeria try to get the best talent possible.

Messi didn't play for the Spanish underaged teams, if he did Spain had a legitimate right to claim him

I don't see the issue of being excited about kids of dual nationality WHO HAVE CHOSEN TO PLAY FOR OTHER COUNTRIES when we have our home grown kids

We may as well dump the underage teams and go into full time begging

He was developed in Spain. Underage teams do not develop players, clubs do.

Why did Argentina not leave him alone since Spain developed him?

Aina, Iwobi, Ekong, all played for the youth teams of other countries.

Thiaggo Motta played for Brazilian U17 and even had caps for the Brazil senior team but he changed allegiance to Italy.

Do you think Italy do not have other talents?

Even countries with better facilities and structures look for better players regardless of who they have played for.

Who are we raising shoulders for as Nigerians with our poor football structures?

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that European clubs interested in signing Golden Eaglets captain Samson Tijani after the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup might face a stumbling block with several agents and clubs claiming to be the bona fide representative of the central midfielder.

Tijani has found himself in the same boat as former Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho whose father signed mandates with multiple agents to negotiate the transfer of the player to a European club before the 2013 U17 World Cup.

The Technical Committee Chairman Lagos State Football Association Dotun Coker, Liameed Olawale Gafar,
Siji Lagunju of the NFF Technical Department, French-Cameroonian agent Oliver Noah, Collins Edwin SC, Paul Ojo, Jossy United Football Club, Owerri, and an unnamed agent based in Ibadan have parental consent to represent the same player, Tijani.

Nigeria Football Federation Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi has also been mentioned as a future beneficiary should Tijani sign for a foreign club as he went out of his way to order for the release of the passports of the Golden Eaglets captain and striker Olakunle Olusegun before they traveled to Russia to undergo trials after the U17 AFCON.

The Russian club have an academy and they are affiliated with clubs in Denmark (BK Fremad Amager) and Armenia and it's the same club that NPFL hotshot Ibrahim Sunusi traveled to earlier this year.

Tijani is already putting himself in the shop window after scoring two goals in the Nigeria U17s World Cup opener against Hungary and winning the Man of the Match award.

So the summary of your write up is that you don't believe in the 23 homegrown and foreign born kids who have CHOSEN to represent Nigeria

That somehow the one odd kid who has CHOSEN to represent another country will be better than them?

I believe in getting the best players for Nigeria home or abroad even if they have youth caps for another country. If they can improve our team, go for them.

Keeping tabs on Nigerian heritage players is part of identifying those who can represent us in the future. That includes Nigerians playing for other countries now.

na pride wey dem no get dey worry, deceive and blind them always. anyone that wishes our football well will never be against the inclusion of lads raised, groomed and nurtured in top football academies in europe.

getting talented kids from both end (home and abroad) will only equip our teams with numerous talented kids which will come together to form a strong snr team that can compete with the very best in world football in the nearest future.

i am open to having a mixture of talents from both end but a place in our various teams must be on merit.

If the one player who opts to represent another country turns out to be better than the 23 players we took to the tournament that means there is a problem with the selection process

We should demand for better selection processes not turn into beggars

Iwobi, Aina had no choice and the host of Ekong, Balogun and Ajayi had no chance with England and Germany

If we could have gotten those players without begging then why are we?

Oga, Many was there for our last two ttiymphs and the boys played good football. Algeria's coach for the AFCON wasn't there for 3 years yet they won it with similar calibre of players to ours.

I like Rohr for his man management skills and good (unbiased) team selection but that is all he has going for himself. I wonder the excuse he will give after AFCON 2021.

I agree with you on this. In fact, I don't think we should be visiting any foreign born to convince him to play for us. England doesn't do that yet these players are killing themselves to play for England (notwithstanding the economy difference between us and them).

If you want to rep Naija, you won't need too much prodding. I'm tired of small boys using us to increase their clout on social media.

Take a look at you defending mediocrity

Smh
He doesn't know much about football, the only thing Henderson offers is work rate his passing range is poor even pundit reckon if England want to get better at their passing game they need a big upgrade on him but then like I said he no too sabi ball so no need to argue

These guys make their choice from childhood, no amount of red carpet rolling or visitations will change their mind

We can only tidy our processes and make ourselves more attractive

Reaching out to this kids is not begging. They re approached and left to make the decion on their own accord which is normal.

Do u know how hard Spain tried to get Messi to their youth teams? Do u know how hard England pressed to hv anichebe in their u21 team? Or u won't tag that begging?

What about Holland that stooped low to invite danjuma who was playing in the lowly rated Belgian top flight just to tie him down inorder to wade off our interest in him? Isn't that desperation?

Do you know how hard the same Dutch team fought to stop ziyech from turning out for morroco?

Bros no allow pride deny u any golden opportunity to attain greatness in life
