They are cutting too many corners already with hardware. Even on the premium Mi9. They should do something revolutionary with software, they have no excuses.

For the price you are paying, it is no brainer.

Revolutionary like what? Would love to hear your ideas.

Good day peeps, pls I'm aiming for a new phone and I am in-between a mi A3 and a Samsung A30, pls which do u guys advise as a stronger n better phone...thanks

it depends on wat you want from a phone, a30 has better screen quality,A3 has better camera, A3 has better battery, dedicated SIM slots for a30.

I have both phones, if you are like me am not heavy user and I prioritize screen quality,go for a30 but for overall performance, strong battery, good camera,go for A3. A3 also offers you great value for money.

It is my geek phone. Even redditors trip for my gamepad controller setup. We'll see.

P.S. Tried this on the big screen and it's almost as good as playing with the ps4 console. Almost.

Lol. If you've a RN7 already, then I don't think it's necessary to get a RN8. RN8 is for people trying to Port from, say, Note 5 or even Mi virgins like me.

If you've RN7, just go and wait for RN10.
Well said
Pls loud it to our RN7 niqqa

The case of redmi note 7 nd 8 is so similar to the era of note 3 vs note 4(snapdragon) war,the predecessor still lashing the successor.

No doubt. But still they can try with the flagship(killers).

Hardware-side if they give you fm radio then forget about NFC, and vice-versa. Also, their USB-typeC has no display-out so it's useless for media output, basically usb 2.0 speeds in a type C container.
And many other things, but that's already enough to irritate person after a while.
Software-side, until MIUI 11, there's been no serious improvement in the stock ROM. Ordinary wifi screen casting na war, which is a bummer since it is the only way to get your display mirrored externally.
Now compare with Samsung that has always had NFC, FM radio, USB C 3.1 Display-out. Then look at their one ui, Dex( plus LinuxOnDex) is just great. You have to use it to understand.

I'm talking about flagships from both OEMs here so you can see Samsung blows xiaomi out of the water. I can live with the hardware limitations if they put more imagination into software development, that's my point.

How much is the latest Samsung flagships (s10e,s10,s10+,note 10/+) in comparison with the mi 9? If you want a flagship device with all the bells and whistles, you should be looking at another brand and not xiaomi.
