So I used this product and I'm seeing positive results. I usually get about 170miles by the time my fuel tank reaches half. Note I stop filling my tank when the dispenser clicks and I use AC always (except mornings that are cold). I didn't really notice a difference in the refill that I added the product to. But in my second fill up since using this product I got 192 miles by half tank. This is the first time I am using a product that has PEA. More on this is subsequent posts... 3 Likes 2 Shares

Polyetheramine (PEA) is reputed to be the top-of-the-line detergent that breaks down carbon deposits. It is the strongest cleaning agent, generally expensive and not many cleaners contain it. 1 Like |

Since my car is GDI I have also acquired this CRC intake valve & turbo cleaner. I will be get a borescope to see before and after pics of the intake valves/combustion chamber. I will be celebrating 250k miles on my car soon. Modified Car is MPFI not GDI. Thanks to the demeanor that highlighted this. Inception you know ya sef

Piyke: @ Bolded. it seems you have upgraded. 2013 Honda accord? Hyundai/KIA? Mitsubishi ? Dont mind me o... In Malaysia here GDI stands for Gasoline Direct Injection |

Piyke:I was wondering if the accord I knew had a GDI engine. I checked the price of the humour on Jumia and it's 13k. Will do the maths and see if it's worth it. If I have to use it twice to get results, that's 26k. Almost three tanks of fuel. |

9icetoo: Looks like its cheaper on Konga. My dear initially thought car was GDI o! MPFI can also suffer from carbon build up on intake valves/combustion chamber but not as much as GDI. Besides no one knows the octane rating and level of detergents in the petrol we use in Naija. Good thing is that the CRC intake cleaner is safe for use in MPFI engines as well. Since I will inspect with a borescope, I should be able to see any reduction in carbon after. I will try to make a YouTube video. |

Piyke:The gumout on konga doesn't contain PEA. Without PEA, it's just like any other injector cleaner out there. Won't be very effective. PEA is what does the job. 1 Like 1 Share |
