I use to have a lecturer, who lectures in three institution I.e one federal and two private, apart from the fact that he also run a radio program.

He won't come to class, he will send material upon material and u won't know the one to read.

And if he !manage to come to lecture he will use 1:30mins to do motivation speaking, use 30 mins to take his ICT course.

C++ na cram I use pass am then....thank God for outside world where we learn little programming now

I am sure that have skeletons in their cupboards. You cannot say you are independent and still be depending on government for subventions, salaries.

Generate revenue to cover your personnel and other costs if they want to be truely independent.

all they succeed in doing in the university is teach the age long Carl Marx theory, then return to hold the government to ransom.
I once challenge a lecturer of my to teaching us the 15th century theory as against the modern age problem. all he said was I should propound my own theory, bring it then they would teach it to solve problems.
lecturers, lawyers and medical doctors are no no no to me. that are too wisely foolish for my liken.

Even Harvard with all her reputation and billions of dollars still render account of expenses to donors. Now tell me why ASUU shouldn't support IPPIS when it is all about transparency. Does autonomy put FG below ASUU?

If they are truly autonomous let them fund themselves. Harvard renders account back to donors because they receive money from donors around. Our own universities want to receive money and turn to lawlessness. Employer has say in every employees issur and there is no way an employee will use autonomy to dictate to employers.
