This Ibrahim Sa'id is quite a baller. Noticed him in the first game and included him among my other key players to watch in the U-17 thread. Very intelligent I must say. Found Ubani for that penalty in the first game despite being surrounded by five Hungarian players...

I say again, this Nigerian team can crack the Quarters and may even reach the semis and finals if they play true to their potentials.

One fact is THEY CAN SCORE GOALS. AND they seem to play much better when chasing a game and I think this team is a dangerous side in the final 20mins of a game.
It was thesame come back Imama was doing with home based eagles until they couldn't come back against Togo

That's the problem with most of you. You fail to comprehend simple post. I'm probably more happy than you about the team winning but that doesn't change my stance. This selection seem flawed. You can't be giving away balls easily like morons without game plan. They just depend on high atletism to wear opponents out. All i see is the "We die here" spirit due to the reputation Nigeria has in this competition which they have to protect. This may not take them far. I hope to see them blend well and make us enjoy alittle of our usual U17 football. Amo is a really good player though!

I can see the reason Manu benches Amoo, the guy is not a 90 min player, he tires out too early but the dude has been fully involved in all our goals after coming on. I wonder if they have a fitness coach
Congrats to them, another shambolic win

I hv never been in support of our U17 stars rushing to the big leagues n clubs to sign contracts after doing well at the world cup.

It's only their greedy agents who entices their parents and guidians with loads of money from this big clubs push this kids to signing for teams who careless about their development.

A move to Belgian or Dutch clubs should be the perfect start for this kids who are leaving Africa for the first time to a different continent and culture. Also laliga clubs excluding barca, atm and Madrid are also good at nurturing and giving young talents a chance.

Nwakali's problem started when he rushed n signed for Arsenal instead of joining the likes of ajax and Anderlecht who were very interested in having him.

Iheanacho was fortunate to join city when pelegrini who gives youngsters a chance was the coach.

Oshimeh was almost rendered useless in Germany before he ran off to belgium

Awoniyi since joining Liverpool have been used as a tool to rake in money for his parent club which obviouslyhv been detrimental to his development so far

Gbam.

For once Emeka nwanem, we are on the same page. I don't fancy any Madrid or barca or Liverpool rubbish for the guy.

I prefer Ajax above all teams for him

My goodness... Wetin carry you go 2007? I said 2013 and 2015.. you are talking 2007. The 2013 and 2015 teams are younger than this set man. That is my point.

I have watched U-17 football for years. In 2013, the team looks so disjointed in the opening 20mins against Sweden with poor decision making also. That also showed that set's youth and inexperience but they grew into the game and went on to win the tournament.

The 2015 team too had a non-spectacular first game vs USA. We were average and didn't really excite but their beast modes were unleaded with time.

This 2019 team have shown they can be poor in some aspects showing their youth and inexperience but can be also excellent in some team plays showing how talented they are. That doesn't suddenly make them the youngest side. I know guys too who play football professionally and I was a hot shot myself before science dreams came calling.

Chidonsky:
can you compare this team age with that of Chrisantus era?Imagine oseni been declared 15years old in that tournament. If you watch the way they play and their decision making you will know this guys are young.I played football so i have a solid reason for saying what i said.Am not disputing their talent but any way they can still grow into the tournament.

I noticed their long ball reduced in the second half and they attacked from the wings. Jaabar introduction paid off.

However, dat Olusegun na suspect. Manu knew the attack was the problem during the qualifiers but he refused to bring in a better player.

Dat Ecuador number 5 could turn out to be super star. The boy is too good.

It was after we drifted away from the mildfield to the flanks that we were able to breakthrough.

Suddenly its a mess? Na wa O. But we nor call them mess last year before the world cup O?

what will you call a situation where Agbiogun and Imama are allowed to keep their jobs...especially the under 20 coach...

it makes nonsense that pinnick and co just can't be decisive as regard this coaches.....
it is not helpful...I appreciate the fact that he has done so well in the team corporate brand...and fetching of sponsors...but in keeping this coaches he has not done well not even a refreshers course are being organized for the incompetent coaches....

even the female coach that did so we'll Florence Omagbami she was relieved...of her job. to be honest Thomas Dennerby recruitment wasn't necessary in the first place and now he went ahead to employ coaches that have been there prior now with little success to make us loose the Olympic spot...

Expect most of their goals within the 75-90mins window. grin grin

Jabaar, Sa'id, Amoo and Tijani... Real ballers they are.

All what you just wrote is trash. Where are the epistles and the silence like you claim. Post them let's see man or forever keep shut lol. I fully support the team but i don't have so much faith in them like the previous sets and that has affected my enthusiasm about keeping up with them. Tell me, is that an offence? If things changes tomorrow, don't be supprised to see me jumping all over the thread singing their praises but for now, i have no confidence in this team. Their wins so far has being shamolic like someone here said
