I agree. This set have now been nicknamed the "Comeback Eaglets"
Expect most of their goals within the 70-90mins window. grin grin
Jabaar, Sa'id, Amoo and Tijani... Real ballers they are.
No Sir. Call them the 'Cardiac and Comeback Eaglets'

Manu Garba should be coaching Super Eagles in the near future

please let him take over Aigbogun's job first....I think he has learnt his lesson on why lost out so early in the last world cup in new Zealand

Danielnino00:
Been off the internet for some days now cus I travelled to my village for my granny funeral... missed the u-17 game altogether.. somebody should drop me a link to the highlight or full match...

Just going through the posts now and can't help feeling disgusted at the tribalist comments from some folks on this thread prior to kick off... you guys just couldn't hold it in... you are one of the reasons this country isn't progressing...
Thanks for letting us know your true nature...

Pinnick did not make coaches pick players for money..

yeah sure...but in a case where the under 20 coach was retained...it doesn't speak well of his administration

I wonder why we handle the south Americans easily at this level but find them hard to beat from u21 upwards

simple they develop from there U 17, while bring on quality addition to compensate for theirs lapse in U17, with new tectical inputs and awareness

Yes we managed to grind out a win, congrats to the boys, but we ain't here just for this, we rather are here primarily to unearth the next stars. Sorry I haven't been wowed by any player. Bar Tijani, I don't see no real talent in this team. This bunch is wack unlike what we av had before them

By the way, how did Adeniyi-2 make this team? I have never seen an eaglet rb as poor

I can see the reason Manu benches Amoo, the guy is not a 90 min player, he tires out too early but the dude has been fully involved in all our goals after coming on. I wonder if they have a fitness coach
Congrats to them, another shambolic win

U mean someone that was still giving through passes and making runs till the final minute of the game, is the one that tires out?

I no go lie you. Olusegun dey bring back some funny memories of 2015's bad boy, Funsho Bamgboye who frustrated us throughout the tournament with his decision making and getting red carded sef only to be a hero in the final where his wicked left footed strike left Mali's Samuel Diarra stranded in goal. Lol

I see the Hausa boy pairing ikenna as the better CB btwn the two. He is the most celebral of the two poor CBs.

Opeyemi(the boy with a big scar), Adeniyi, ubani and Olusegun, shouldn't be starting. Etim Charles na another big minus 1, he makes the last dog-meat (okon) we had in that LB look golden
