This is the update on my younger cousin application does this mean well? Please house response as am very tense

RE: validity of your biometric information

Thank you for providing your biometric information (i.e. digital fingerprints and photograph) in
support of your temporary resident application to Canada. The purpose of this letter is to notify
you that your biometric information is valid until (yyyy/mm/dd) for subsequent
temporary resident applications to Canada.

What you need to know for subsequent temporary resident (TR) applications:

• Please keep this letter for future reference. Your biometric information must be valid for the
duration of your temporary stay in Canada.
• You will not be required to provide your biometric information again in support of any
subsequent temporary resident applications you make within the validity date indicated
above.
• However, if you wish to extend the validity of your permit or visa beyond the validity date
indicated above you can provide your biometric information again and pay the associated
fee for another ten-year validity.
• Please note that you will be required to provide your biometric information in support of any
permanent resident application, even if you apply within the validity date indicated above.
• In addition to this letter, you can check the validity date of your biometric information using:
• your MyAccount at
• the Biometrics Validity Tool that is available on Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship

Got the same mail and several days later, got the refusal mail. So don't raise your hopes, as it's quite uncertain what will happen next.

Did your cousin receive any instruction to undergo a medical exam prior to this biometrics validity letter? On the account that the answer is No, then it's likely that a decision has been made on your cousin's application which is a REFUSAL.

Can I know if an application is approved if I track using Vfsglobal?

No you can't until you link your paper application online. That's the only way you can have a clear view of your application progress.

Hello house.

Please is it compulsory I update IRCC with my new admission letter.
Got approval late but could not resume for September 2019 intake. I have however defer to January 2020 and I have a new letter of acceptance from school for this.
Should I update IRCC with the new letter or I should just ignore. If I must submit the letter, how do I go about it.

Thanks.

Bimmy35:

Hello gurus in the house, please help with the above. Thanks.

Hey sorry no one had answered your query.

Accept my congratulations! Since your Visa has been approved, you don't need to update IRCC about your updated letter of acceptance. Your visa is valid for two years which gives you entry into Canada within this period of time so you can be able to obtain your study permit at the point of entry. Never to worry, prepare your trip for January, winter 2020. You will be fine.

Hi everyone...am new here
Just about to start my Canadian admission process...looking at University of carleton and University of Alberta for masters in accounting...I am a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Les cours sonou University in cotonou...came out with second class upper...my problem is that the prerequisite forms for the two schools require that I have a result for business law which was not part of my undergraduate course....and would they accept an English proficiency letter from a French school....though we were all thought in English and even had Nigerian lecturers

Hello,

Please I'd like to know what this really means especially when someone was denied a TRV (study) and wants to create EE profile.

"YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE PROCESSED BASED ON IT'S OWN MERIT"

A) Does it mean that the EE application, personal details and documents provided will be processed independently and vice versa.

OR

B) The EE will be processed independently but with details and documents from the denied TRV application and vice versa.

Thanks for your answer and forgive my long question.

I think it depends on who you met at the counter (VFS). Generally, you're not expected to pay a dime since that the office you previously enrolled for your biometrics. I know some peeps that submitted their passports but weren't asked to make any payment.

Hello house
I hope u all are doing great.
Quick one, i got an admission at one of the university in canada.
But no fund to proceed. But i got a help from a friend which she's a PA to the wife of a govenor in nigeria, which she promise to give me a sponsorship letter from the office of the first lady....
My question is will i just submit the sponsorship letter with all the neccessary document together ? Did i stand a chance of getting my visa approval?
Note am only using the sponsorship letter as the means of fund.
Please house help a friend
Thanks all

Kenya VO will not look at this application twice before making a decision. International students with full funded scholarships from Canada are getting rejection let alone Governor's wife giving you just a letter. It's better for you to include her bank statements showing proof of her financal sufficiency coupled with the letter. This makes more sense. Rather than submitting just a letter. Even if you're being sponsored by TETFUND, or NDDC, you would still need to present your bank statement showing that your estimated annual expenses have been paid in your account.

I have been seeing your email boss, I will respond at my own pace. Meanwhile, for quick response from me, you can ask me your questions here.

Ps; I noticed that majority of persons that I have answered their questions outside of this thread, don't return back here to make further inquiry and this might not be helpful to this thread.
