I just learnt that as from today (27/09/2019), WES no longer requires WAEC/NECO to evaluate degrees from Nigeria.

How true is this?

I also heard that too, but no official statement from them yet.

Yes, it's true.
I single handledly followed it up with WES via several reports on complaints board, bbb.org and their twitter handle. They realized their mistake and updated the requirements.


Most of you so called Nigerian graduates especially that fellow that refers to herself as 'pretty" whatever, don't deserve this but enjoy!

This is totally true, I called WES today and the customer support agent on the phone was so happy to announce to me that the information is true. WES no longer requires WAEC/NECO Transcripts nor Scratch Cards. If your account is displaying "NOT RECEIVED" on your WAEC and scratch card status. The WES support agent said, "Don't worry about it, you don't have to take any further action. give WES some time, they will update your information online, and proceed to evaluate your transcript".


This is a huge relief!

its absolutely true...when i applied last month, it requested for NECO/WAEC which is on its way to WES. I only found out today that NECO/WAEC has been removed from the required documents

Yeah I made use of them but I never got to see the copy as I sent it straight to the school.

Hi people. Please I want to get ECA report for the RNIP(rural and northern immigration program) of Canada,and I want to sent to WES for the assessment. I read from the thread DAT weac/neck is no longer required for evaluation of degrees. I have a b.sc In chemical engineering.my question is
1. How do I go about the sending of my transcript and degree certificate to WES to get the ECA report,is it by going to my school and requesting for only my transcript to be mail to WES,or both transcript and degree certificate (note:I have already collected my degree cert.from school)
2. Do I have to create a profile on WES site and then go to my graduate school and send to WES.

please fam, i need help its very urgent.... wen created my wes account, i couldn't pay with my master card so i transfered d money to a friends account and told him to help me make payment, he has done dat since over 6 weeks now and yet d payment has not gone through... d problem is dat d payment its still pending. and now wes has placed me onhold till the get my payment... please wat do i do? i asked him to give me back my money and he said dat wat of he gives me back my money and wes finally debits him, who will pay him back?... please i need help.. am in tears here since 6 weeks.

Hello Teks, welcome to the thread.

What you "should" send to WES is clearly stated on WES' website. Usually, depending on the specific country you would be needing your WES ECA in (mostly the US or Canada) AND on what purpose for which you need the ECA (immigration, academic study, employment, etc.), there will be clearly stated requirements for you to provide to WES. Kindly understand that I am only providing this information for you to know ALL of the documents you would need to submit to WES for whatever purpose you need the ECA, in case you do not already know.

Now to the issue of having two SSCE results, like I would always tell folks who post similar enquiries on here it is always best to contact WES directly in cases where you are unclear about what to do. WES would undoubtedly be the best source of reliable information regarding their ECA application process so kindly do well to contact them with your specific question. Please try to be very clear on what information you need when you write your correspondence to them. Also, if you have paid for the service and have received your WES reference number, be sure to include it at the top or subject of every correspondence that you send to them. These things will facilitate the ease of getting a prompt response.

TIP: Contacting WES through their Twitter account (DM @WESCanada or @WESAdvisor) has always worked best for me in getting prompt responses.

Good day everyone, please I need u people help, my transcript was sent from my school to Wes for evaluation and it was acknowledge and received by one C. MAPLE on 2nd December 2019 and updated on 4th December 2019 on my Wes status. On the 31st of same month I received a mail from Wes that my transcript was not receive or they are waiting for my transcript. Have call, have send a message to them with d tracking number that the document was sent with.
Please I need help

Wes has never revealed their email. Go to contact us on their website and log your request. Yes, your reference number is required.
