SmooshCHN: With DLO and a lottery pick you lot are putting together great trade assets for yourselves. You lot weren't going to win anyway and this way steph has an excuse. This could be the best thing to happen to you. |

SmooshCHN: WTF? They got the letter "Q" now as well? These people are going to steal all the alphabets by the time they're done. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 6:06am On Oct 31, 2019 |
Toughest game I've had to watch since Game 7, 2016 finals. Good thing the young guys fought and cut the lead down to 11pts. This team needs a new identity. |

SmooshCHN:Once I see any She/Her He/Him on your bio or rainbow sign. Na to japa They are the most problematic and difficult set of people to engage on anything and you will piss them off one way or the other. Can't count how many don block me or unfollow, even the ones you think have sense |

A40: The alphabet people can be unforgiving and unrelenting. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:40am On Oct 31, 2019 |
afrodoc2:I get that society has not been kind to a lot of them and their quirks and idiosyncratic ways. However a lot of them just see anyone that doesn't share their views on everything as an enemy and start their outrage p0rnn rants Look at the matter of the athlete (a cyclist I think) that was biologically a male and competing with women and then you have these guys hollering transphobia and are completely clueless about sports and think merely lowering testosterone levels is all it takes to level the playing field and allow actual men compete with women. 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:50am On Oct 31, 2019 |
A40: The pronoun thing is the most ridiculous thing in the world, the moment i see a persons bio with pronouns I already know they're bat shit crazy. Apparently now theres 100 genders too SMH. For people that are supposed to be liberal or tolerant they are the complete opposite of that. They're the most dogmatic people in the world and anyone who doesn't conform to their ideals is a monster. How is that any different from religious extremism? I get the whole live and let live philosophy that we should all adopt in life but a line has to be drawn somewhere, and we should all be allowed to air our opinion on certain things as long as its not inciting hate or violence against others whether they agree with it or not. Everyone has that prerogative. I hear transgender "women" have been smashing female records in athletics in certain places. Any woman who condones such madness is an enemy of women, period. No woman will be able to compete ever again. Why not just create a whole new category for trans people? |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:00am On Oct 31, 2019 |
This is the right time for the GS bandwagonners to jump ship, because this dynasty is well and truly over. Get ready for years, or even decades, of mediocrity. GS is the new Memphis Grizzlies. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:05am On Oct 31, 2019 |
zelgiusdigby:I still want to believe it's the new 'cool' and a fad that will pass as time goes on. You're right. I'm yet to see any rational person with pronouns on their bio. Just mess with one and you have unlocked an army of killer bees in your mentions Basically you're whatever gender you want to be depending on the side of the bed you woke up from. zelgiusdigby:The tolerance starts and ends the minute you disagree with them on issues like these. You automatically become a phobe of some sort. Something as trivial as the use of a bathroom which is just common sense zelgiusdigby:You would definitely be labeled a transphobe like I and a lot of other people were when we suggested they have their own Sports. They will argue that society segregates them enough and their laughable analogy is always the dead giveaway as to how these guys are completely clueless on all things Sports You mostly find the Firebrand Feminazis who display misplaced allyship in that boat. So that they in turn also reciprocate when they go full misandry mode. That's why they and Beta men always unite to attack their common enemy the Hetero man at any given turn. Always hilarious to see |

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:13am On Oct 31, 2019 |
A40:I don't necessarily agree with it but the point is it does exist and i can respect it. These fighters are human as well. Reminds me of the Tom hardy movie, warrior i think is called. Dana White does not care for fight fan purists. He is always after what would bring in the most casuals. An Izzy vs Romero fight will bring in more casuals plus Romero is a credible challenger. It's a fight I wouldn't missYes, Dana loves his super fights but the one thing about the ufc and mma in general and one aspect it surpassed boxing is that the best always fight the best, their matchmaking is usually impeccable. The UFC usually gives chances to people that deserve bar tony who will get his chance next. Thats why boxing needs to get rid of all these bodies and have one belt for every division. I won't sell Cannonier so short but the thing I like about Izzy is this is the 3rd straight fight he's showing me something different and something I've not seen before. It's a sign he is getting betterI agree the kid is special, hes a lot better than i thought. That is the angle you are viewing it from. All I'm saying is a suspect chin can be hidden but exposed the higher the quality of guys you fight. Age and attrition can wear down your chin (cc Spider) but for a guy like Weidman it's clear beyond reasonable doubt that he had a glass jaw and only got exposed as he went alongI'm just saying the hook that put him down doesnt compare to the bombs he survived from yoel, people raved about his granite chin and against israel that chin looked suspect. Fair enough. It could be so. However you have to consider that most of these fights actually get won and lost in the latter rounds. He slowed down against Costa (I thought Costa won that one easily don't get the outrage)People live yoel and hate costa, the fight was close so people will side with yoel. But the UFC judges have been making some horrible decisions recently. Did you watch michael johnson vs stevie ray? That was the most blatant robbery i have ever seen in my life. The more reason I need for Bones to leave LH. He has zilch left to prove. I know I will never be arsed to watch another Jones fight at LH. He's beaten every credible challenger in the division in the last decade. It's a year end, he's USADA free, healthy and still can't get a fight. No wonder he's all over Twitter mouthing off at Stylebender every other dayFunny thing is i dont think he hates israel. Jones just looks at him and sees money. Jones is a friggin socio path man, its hard to get into his head. But the same advantage that jones has at LHW is what every fighter tries to cultivate, thats why they cut as much weight as possible to get as much advantage as possible. The UFC needs to enforce the sort of weight cut rules they have at One FC. But that being said jones is also very lanky and easily makes 205. Hes going to be fighting much bigger guys at HW but you're right he still has enough skills to do well. The margin of error becomes smaller with people like Ngannou but he should be fine. For me heavyweight or not, i will always watch jon jones if only to witness his greatness. |

A40: Joel and his antics. I saw the game and fight..hmmmm, should I even call it a fight? It was more like a scuffle, a level higher than Gianis v Smart last night. Embiid has a bad rep in the league and people will go at him because he is not a good loser especially with his mouth. I just feel bad for KAT though, the stigma about his past with Butler will always be a trigger for him and I bet you Embiid mentioned something related to that. |
