Charlie, that's why I can't seem to understand why your country is so pissed about the whole scenario. Fine, we agree. You people are the best, the giant hope you are happy now

So can you guys leave us and our border alone. Uncle, is that too much to ask?
Na that one dey tire me pass, we all now agree that Ghana has the largest GDP in the world, highest GDP per capita, best economy, best every every in the world but they should leave our border for us na.
Did we close Ghana's border too, I asked because maybe I may have missed when it happened and don't know about it.

instead of the government to give in to the wish of GUTA who represents all Ghanaian traders to sack and ban anything Nigeria in Ghana and all Nigerian traders, they rather took a flight to Abuja to agree with your government to open the border only for Ghanaian traders and your government agreed and in two weeks time, all Ghanaian traders importing and exporting to Nigeria will resume trade buh GUTA who didn't ask for that and in fact wants your borders closed so that when they start closing down all Nigerian businesses in Ghana, nobody will shout ECOWAS has started their own attacks and closing down all your businesses.Remember this is just one town in another city called Kumasi alone.Imagine the millions of Nigerians in Accra alone being chased out of business. Ghanaian government though doesn't benefit from any meaningful Nigerian trade buh has being given the headquarters of the African Free Trade Agreement Headquarters wants calm and not to be tagged as xenophobic because your ambassador and government has accused Ghana of being xenophobic just this year in August. In trade wise,Ghana trades between Burkina Faso more than Nigeria. In fact importing your goods through our seaports is far expensive than any country in West Africa thus economically it will be highly foolish to import into Ghana then smuggle into Nigeria. Cost of living is far higher in Ghana than in any West African countries because we don't do free port system like Togo and Benin who imports cheaply and smuggles to Nigeria and Ghana. Togo has been doing similar thing to Ghana for decades buh due to our somehow efficient borders,we control such smuggling. Didn't you hear your ministers pleading with our officials that Ghana is not the target thus agreeing for the borders to be opened for only Ghanaian traders which we don't even benefit much.GUTA should be your enemies.

E pain am and other lazy Ghanaians waiting on Nigeria to open her borders to illegal trade, tell your president and presidents of Benin, Niger, Togo, Ivory Coast, Liberia and other countries affected already to go to Aso Rock to meet Buhari, kneel down and beg him at Aso Rock to reopen the borders, your wailing on nairaland has no effect.
The tears of your president and others may touch Buhari and he can order the borders opened, just an advice.

GUTA is too small for only my union to deal with talk more of Nigeria.

Nigeria is looking for African countries to colonize and I think starting with Ghana is a good idea. And please try space your sentences when typing for easy understanding. It's easier to comprehend when reading . Thank you

You Nigerians are very funny oo.I already told you that GUTA already hate you and had just gotten the perfect opportunity to get all Nigerian competitors and traders out from Ghana. Remember that Ghana is already 30 million people and has the second largest economy in West Africa and higher GDP per capita than Nigeria. There're more than 4 million Nigerians living and working in Ghana together with their families. Ghana doesn't really produce anything for exports into West Africa except some few alcoholic companies. Now if these millions of Nigerians living in Ghana are frustrated and forced out of Ghana, your same people will be shouting ECOWAS and xenophobia. Now let's see if any Nigerian will shout ECOWAS again. Just this year, just 400 Nigerian shops and businesses were locked in just one spare parts town in another city called Kumasi alone and you people were all over the place. You wannabe giants were mocking our leaders that they're begging you. For them they always want peace just like the South African leaders try to make peace buh we the people of Ghana don't want to see you Nigerians in our country and don't even care or heard of any border closure .F**k peace. That's the honest situation on the ground .Seriously I love my country Ghana more than myself." God Bless our Homeland Ghana, And Make Her Great And Strong ".I hate to see my fellow brothers and sisters from Nigeria insult my nation Ghana.
..................

Your last line made me to conclude that your are mature and responsible but just frustrated.

But never f**k peace if you haven't been to war of which am sure you don't pray for..............

justthink very well,do you think those involved in the border closure eat locally made things or buy Abba clothes & wear or patronized our hospital here.all this border closure is for the masses to suffer more....
An advice for you, since the closure, more Nigerians students, those waiting on JAMB for help and others are already buying day old chicks, week old, having carpenters building cages for them all for the yuletide season.
If you really don't have much doing now you can as well do same, imagine if by Xmas you already have 100-200 live fully grown birds.
By Easter you buy a car, some people would start shouting yahoo yahoo or ritual money.
You'd thank me later, if you don't have the time because you're engaged in something else, try to sell the idea to anybody you know who's less engaged. They'd thank you for life

hahaha.Nigerians are very funny.Maybe you people don't understand our economy. Just as your economy can only be crippled by international crude oil prices because your whole economy and exports depends on it thus you going into recession in 2015,the only thing that can cripple Ghana's economy is sharp fall of gold, cocoa and oil prices on the international market. Nigerians doing businesses in Ghana are nuisance whom 2/3 are even informal and evade taxes. They only end up repatrating all their little profits out of the country to their mama's in their village. Why do you think the Ghanaian government made a law to ban foreigners from retailing in Ghana.About your 4 banks or so in Ghana, just this year, the government liquidated and forcefully closed down 15 solid Ghanaians and Nigerian banks in Ghana and nobody including the economy was affected. The workers were given package and laid off.The economy was rather made stronger. The government ended up pumping billions of dollars into the economy. Your petty banks will close and leave and the economy won't even tickle. We're looking for better investments from Asia and the Western countries not Nigeria. Your glo company is almost dead.Even you who leave in Ghana is an illegal immigrant including all these Nigerians studying in Ghana in unknown private universities without their residence permits. You guys force yourself unto Ghana cos we don't even need your failed naira here.
You are trying by all means to be patriotic with all your comment, but know this.We Nigerians knows countries to respect and Ghana isn't one of those.

Why are they turning our border closure into a war. We don't have border with Ghana and we didn't ban Ghanaian goods.

We only asked them to ship their goods through our seaport, the same way the export their cocoa to the world.

Ghana gave our people condition to operate businesses in Ghana, which they are abiding to. Should we now add condition for Ghanaian to operating business in Nigeria too?
