God have mercy... But what do we advice?? Should I just book even without any AL for now I'm almost sure I will still get AL though.

Sorry for the many questions pls... I've been out of this platform for so long.

A friend of mine did same, but work out for her. She got her AL 2 days before her booked date for interview at the ending of August, 2019 . She got her visa 2nd week of October... She us Currently at Erfurt.

Booking without AL is damn risky... 50/50...

Eyes of my friend nearly fall out as the interview date get closer..

But if you have the faith, I won't discourage you..
Best of luck

I got to Germany last week Friday and I can say it worth all the stress I went through during my application to the visa. I was in school on Monday and I was well welcomed and the lecturer even gave me coffee and biscuit in class. I have 2 Nigerians who will just be taking just the first semester in class and they are giving me the right advice. I stayed in a student hostel till yesterday but I am not in a good accommodation at the moment, thanks to Hadampson. Thanks to sassy92, justwise and everyone that I can't mention

I wish everyone best of luck!

You mean you had no accommodation issues. You said you stayed In hostel for a few days. What's the process in trying to secure a residenceclike?

Accommodation is one of the biggest challenge in Hamburg, difficult than finding a job. I am living with someone and I don't have my own personal place but the contact I got from here is helping me. She is a God sent and my mother in Hamburg and now she linked me up with my father in Hamburg, I live with him and he's treating me like a son. What else do I want? I guess I'm lucky. All thanks to God and Hadampson

Slip:
Unsealed the transcript and make photocopies (black and white). Nobody would certify original copies of documents it can only be photocopy of such documents. The high court certified documents is acceptable by uniassist so just make photocopies and certify. Don't send the original sealed copy so that you could always make use of it anytime...

I hope you understand now.

Cheers!

Can a colored photocopy be certified?

still the same set of questions joor.
Transcript
I got the embassy around 6:18am but had to hang around till 6:25am
We already know what goes on with Paulinus and arrangement of documents.
Fast forward to my meeting with the VO. He was a young dark guy. After exchanging pleasantries,
VO: can I have your documents
VO: when are you expected to be in Germany?
Me: I’m already enrolled and I have contacted my school about my late resumption
VO: I understand but I still need a written document that shows that you can resume at a later date
Me: handed him a mail from Sfs showing I should contact my department if I arrive late
VO: there’s no specified date on this letter and I can’t go on with the interview without a written document from the school showing that you can resume at a particular later date
Me: I have another letter that shows in my mail that but it’s not here with me
VO: are you sure?
Me: yes sir
VO: okay. That letter is very important. How long do you need to get it?
Me: 10-15 minutes
VO: I’ll give you a note after the interview, print the mail and drop it at the gate
Me: thank you sir
I then did biometrics and paid my visa fee
VO: which school are you going?
Bachelor or masters?
Single or married?
Project topic?
Why Germany?
Why not Nigeria because I know your course is taught in Nigeria?
Did you research this course in other developed countries?
Do you speak German?
Facts about Germany?
Facts about the town of your school?
Do you know anyone in Germany?
Have you ever been to Germany?
Good. That will be all.
He gave me the note and told me to do as instructed earlier which I did.

The story is long, I have just tried to summarize as much as I can.
Good luck to everyone who have upcoming ADs
