The Warriors won without him Draymond was at fault for his comments because they also needed him but it's KD, anything hurts him. Fans and Media resentment was the major reason he left the Warriors. Draymond's comment was just the easy answer.

While I agree that the fans and media hate was a key factor, I wouldn't discount the effect of what Draymond Green did on his final decision. D. Green's internal dagger was the wake up call he needed if the external hate from media and fans was not hitting home. I believe he mentally left the team that day.

Embiid has a bad rep in the league and people will go at him because he is not a good loser especially with his mouth. I just feel bad for KAT though, the stigma about his past with Butler will always be a trigger for him and I bet you Embiid mentioned something related to that.
