I really wish to become an international footballer, those days in port Harcourt we use to play street competitions and I am very good, I even join some football clubs in ph like bright star, net bombers, super warrior, etc
I even played youth fund

Things didn't just work out, I wish some scouting team comes around then, by now I could have been playing in Europe, it pains me till today that I am not an international footballer

But God knows best

I can remember how confused I was back then from wanting to be a pastor to a pilot to a doctor ...wait no I hate the sight of blood so definitely anything medicine was not in my agenda funny enough I come from a family of medical doctors literally all my bigger bros are in medicine but me black ship lol just wanted to be a writer and an artist, family called me crazy and so I went for science and for four years I couldn't get admission into any of the medicine line, it hated me as much as I did.

days from now I will be a fully fledged grad student of computer Science with aims of studying 3D animation where I can accomplish my dreams as an artist, a writer and a computer scientist, haha sense nor go kill me.

they wanted me to hold syringe when all I want was a pen or a pencil lol if passion leads, do not be afraid of been misled.

I had always wanted to study Nursing in school and be called a nurse,...but as God would have it, higher institution flinged me to Microbiology... currently in my finals and I pray labour market favours me and make me work in the hospital laboratory whereby I will still be referred to as Nurse Abimbola grin
Better focus your mind on industrial or environmental microbiology bcoz there's no space for microbiologist in the hospital Lab, i graduated from microbiology 2 years ago, worked in d lab for a while (hospital underpays, infact they only employ microbiologist to cut cost, started with 25k, over d years craw to 35k)now into business. Currently Med.Lab have a guiding body preventing d microbiologist from working in the lab, any hospital caught pays a fine of 200k. It's sad

Wanted to be a doctor, ended up in Microbiology. Somehow regretted it, now am into business wanna own my transport company like GIG motors, Iyare motors etc. I pray God help me to make this one come through or Own a fast food restaurants, unfortunately both are capital intensive but I have decided to start from somewhere since am not from a wealthy background (not poor either). One thing is sure, I must make money in this life. Am still young, 25, but married with a child. My wife is very supportive, Luckiest man alive!!!

I'll start my dreams from no.2.

my second dream was to become a financialist but it never materialised as their nothing like it.

My my third was to become a biologist but it was even then a daydream. Never achieved it

My 4th dream was to own a group of companies, all in manufacturing. Never achieved and not keen anyway cos I hate managing people.1

My first dream that I can remembe4 was to become a billionaire. That was definitely in primary school. i remember my Ghanian class teacher teasing me about after an aunt reported me to.him about this dream.

I'm nowhere near that dream. Though it is now easy to be worth a billion with the internet within a span of 2 years. I wouldn't mind achieving it but its not a do or die affair.

My greatest dream presently and priority no.1- that is to enter the New World (Read 2 Peter:3:16, 1 Cor 2:10). Every other thing is secondary. (Read Hebrews 11:1) Or is not

This cracked me real good! Your mum has sadly realized MBBS in Nigeria doesn't guarantee financial freedom. Am a Doc too.
qquote author=Martinez39 post=83679889] I wanted to be a soccer star but mumsy was having none of that. Later, I wanted to be a mathematician or a physicist but mumsy no gree. I remember my mum saying in anger "if it's not a medical course, count me out. What will you use Maths and Physics to do after school?" I yielded to this pressure and chose MBBS. Luckily for me, I got MBBS and I don't regret it. Just yesterday, mumsy was telling me "Don't force your children to do any course" and I nearly said "look who is talking." Thank goodness I didn't say it. grin[/quote]

Lol. MBBS in Nigeria is deteriorating. Law (the profession) has passed it's glory days already. The thin thread still keeping MBBS in the dim part of the spotlight is that people still need doctors' services and many are too poor to travel out of the country for treatment.

It's not uncommon to see doctors, these days, taking up a side hustle. Though doctors can do just fine with their salary but it's not just worth the stress. Las las, everyone wants to travel out.
