Blame the useless governor of the state. School feeding is a fg initiative to encourage children to be enrolled in school. You can see that the children are in school. Buhari and fg have done their bit by getting the children to come to school, but the state govt has failed. The Pdp governor is worse than useless by leaving the school in this decrepit condition.

That area where the school is located have a councillor representing them, they have a local government chairman, they have representatives and senators.... This people are receiving constituency allocation, they should be held responsible

The problem is simple.

Our education budget is less than N1 trillion naria yearly. We need about 2 trillion naira for universites alone annually.

Meanwhile our population is growing and growing.

The problem started with Gowon. In 1972//3, Gowon took over a lot of private mission schools, while he kept on building more and more new schools. His successors brought in UPE...which was meant to guarantee free education for all....at no cost.

By the time oil prices crashed in 1982....Nigeria was left with hundreds of schools that all needed massive funding.....but zero cash.

And that is why we have so many schools in this country that are poorly equiped. And the painful thing is that even if we removed looting....and corruption, the schools would still get issues. The money isn't enough.

So, either state governments

1.Raise fees.
2.Raise taxes to at least 50% of your salary (they do that in Denmark)
3 Beg Auntie Christine, and Uncle David for another big fat loan.

But you expect Denmark level of schools in Nigeria, despite the fact that the revenue Nigeria earns per capita is lower than that of Denmark.
