Ex GMD can only use may. He's no longer in power so he must communicate as someone not in power anymore. He has to be careful on how he gives information about NNPC expecially to the general public. That's y the use of may from ex GMD might mean will for the current GMD. Assuming baru is still in power he won't answer. Nevertheless I thank Mr Baru for the response.

Sup ma ppl, so I don't do sauces but this morning on my way from church I "jammed" a very high ranking "cabal" multitude of people where hailing and rallying around him and I waited for almost 20mins before I gathered morale to go and greet and I asked with politeness if he knew the status of the NNPC recruitment, he said and I quote "young girl the process has stalled, I don't even know what the problem is", I was crest fallen and he noticed which brought up other discussions...

Truthfully deep down I knew something was off but refused to believe and to think I deferred important things hoping to make a decision when NNPC gets released *eyes roll*. Somethings I deduced from the conversation are
1) Authorities listen to social media, & there is power in numbers, let's use it wisely preferably Twitter, we can send our message across in polite diplomatic manners.
2) Even as we hope let's move ahead with our plans, msc, overseas, new jobs etc, Nigerian recruitments are generally shady and should mostly be plan Z.

Thanks for the effort ladyheaven. You will notice some of us here are quite inquisitive and as a result of that we question both positive and "negative" news for its legitimacy. My harmless question is "what makes you think the high ranking cabal man would have legitimate info as regards the recruitment" was there any sign that suggested he might have had legit info, for instance an nnpc sticker on his vehicle or say someone profiled him and by virtue of his office, you felt he could have legit info. yesterday for instance, i did a number of background checks to be sure it was Dr baru's official twitter account (and not a cloned one) that retweeted/tweeted to "theinquirers" tweet before i posted the screenshot here. This may look needless but the truth is asides this recruitment we can learn one or two things from one another, i have learned alot.

Just a day before donifez and shalnick made mention of watching on AIT, where only one candidate was selected from the chairman's state, hence declared the process to be put on hold/ canceled (as the case may be) . i questioned the info to be sure.

Both statements seems to corroborate each other. "Federal character is the cause of the delay"

The determinant of this recruitment is the Court. If NNPC wins, the process will go on. Else, implementation of the Court judgement is the answer: to refine or cancel the process for new one or not. In this regime, Judiciary is INDEPENDENT. No body's assertion will make any effect for now.
We all need it but lets tell ourselves the truth.

Good evening respected local men and women, it is my pleasure contributing to this trend for the first time. I read a news related to this recruitment in June when the present NNPC managing director spoke unbehalf of the then MD. He affirm that the on going recruitment is part of NNPC commitment to showcase transparency for the first time in the history of the COMPANY (NNPC) existence. Let's keep our hope and be prayerful, those who will get APL will surely get when its eventually released.

He is not the one halting it, NNPC is just using him as a platform to gain more delay time. Frankly, this recruitment geers towards few months from now. I feel it will complete one year, say March next year. Otherwise, let's hope for the best before the year ends.
