I don't think this is connected to the border closure issue, though some Ghanaians may use that as yet another excuse to carry out this latest incident.

Ghanaian traders have been repeatedly taking this same action against Nigerians trading in their markets long before now. They claim they can't compete with the Nigerians whom have better access to funds to compete with them in their own markets.

Ghana commercial bank alone is far bigger than Any bank operated in Ghana and it is fully a GHANAIAN bank , this exclude consolidated bank which is by far another big bank in Ghana. zenith is one of the best bank in Ghana not the richest or biggest employer. the biggest employer are the banks I made mention above with British and south Africa bank doing far well than Any Nigeria bank.
