This team was founded on the altar of ethnicity and bigotry. They will lose this match for sure

Well they better play as a team today....enough of this running with the ball like an headless chicken ....the dutch team are good with the ball and will only leave then chasing shadows.....if they work together as a team off and On the ball they stand a chance.....en lastly enough of the wasteful ball shooting anywhere ....if u ain't sure of ur shooting angle y don't just lay down a pass to someone running ahead...wish dem best of luck!!!

I'm not exepcting a victory.

The truth is, the way we view this U17 wroldcup...it is almost as if when we win it, we act as if our football is superior to the rest of the world.

Then we come and wonder why the Super Eagles cannot win the World Cup...or at least go to the semifinals.

What's the use of winning U17 5 times, when our football is not benefitting.
Yes o, at U17 na we be dey baba for that level. Take it or leave it, e get plenty countries wey dey pray and wish for the raw talents we have in u17. And how come those countries winning the senior world Cup can't win U17 like Nigeria. Don't you think they are acting as if thier football is superior to others?

Please don't say what you don't know.

Of the 21 players called up, only 4 are Northeners, the rest are Southerners.

Netherland have good academy system. Our boys lack discipline. In the match against Australia, they all went for personal glory. Defence line lacked proper coordination. Australia had only 2 stand out player.....yet they wrecked havoc against one of the tournament favourite.
Against Netherland, Bassey should play a backup role..... Sadiq should be kept busy, defence and midfield needs revamping.

Good luck, young lads.

I only stand with Nigeria in sports. Any other thing else, I expect the worse because the country is a good reference point for everything failure.

Yes, I know...but the truth is, the competiton was set up to make our senior national team better...and the thing is, it isn't.

What use is it being 'best at u17'..when it does not translate into the World Cup, or even more African Nations CUP trophies.?

(Sorry for my sharp tone, was thinking about it this am as I was on my way to work, and the thought annoyed me well well).

You don't need to be sorry jare...we're all pained inside this failed system. Na so all our tones dey now grin grin. Since winning the senior is one hell of a task for super Eagles, I seek consolation in the U17 grin. We'll get there one day

Netherlands only made it to this round as the best loser. We are overrating them. I'll be staking on Nigeria to win, odds is even pricey @3.11.
