don't mislead people, do your research very well cos that's not the actual fees for overstay

Stop arguing with him, he is correct. The first day costs 350aed and others cost 100aed ( if you are tourist).

I live and work in dubai.

first day is 200aed not 350aed, service fee 100aed, so total 350aed + daily 100aed......i guess u gave the immigration officer 50aed tipsgrin

meanwhile the longer you overstay the cheaper it becomes but it keeps accumulating, lol

Keep reading what they posted on their immigration site. The guy is correct.....you pay 350aed and not 200aed. My younger brother paid same about 2months ago before he exited.

The people who are suffering are poor Nigerians and the ones who do not have millions to Invest in Business in Nigeria. Nigeria is a very Good place for business.

The truth is, until you fix your home, no outsider will respect you.

Who respects a child coming from a destroyed, broken, poverty ridden home

So long as Nigerians refuses to confront their failed corrupt, thieving leaders one on one by occupying the streets for months demanding failed leaders like Buhari and the likes resign now, and ensure only sensible young, vibrant, visionary people are elected into power, a time will come when the rest of the world will be deporting any black person having a root trace to Nigeria, whether he or she is a citizen of that country or not, that time will come!!

Blacks are just so annoying as a race, fix your country no, you keep migrating to all nooks and cranies of the world destroying their nations they worked hard to build.

Honestly white people need to review their immigration and national laws and ensure every black person in their nations are sent back to West Africa whether they are citizen or not, what nonsense of a race called black people angry

You again? You speak like me, honestly. cheesy

The bad name is embedded in bad people , the name Nigeria did nothing, even if you like break it into 1 million countries, bad name follows a bad person around.

The problem of Nigeria is not leadership problem anymore... The sooner we accept this the better for us...

There are poorer countries than Nigeria.. yet her citizen are well behaved.

However, greener pastures is getting over saturated for Nigerians... And the only way to change Nigeria story is to start from home.

We are greedy..

We are loud

We are too fraudulent

And corruption is in every Nigerian.

This is who we have become now.

I am currently I. Dubai.
What few Nigerians did here is what is making other Nigerians suffer to get job.
We breach contract, we steal and do other shits.
Obviously we are hardworking but the poor reputation is speaking more.
A man who showed interest in employing me asked for my CV.. he checked my personal details and saw Nigeria as my nationality.
The man immediately returned my CV and wished me good luck.

It's really bad.

I live in Europe, and I have seen more criminal Nigerians than non-criminals. From welfare thieves to internet fraudsters, yahoo pastors, fake refugees, drug dealers, the list is endless. The average Nigerian you will come across is criminally minded, you just wonder how the nation got to this level of degeneracy.

Charity begins at home. No one will respect you when your home is broken.

what people fail to understand is as oil producing country , Nigerians are not entitled to some types of jobs in Dubai, Ethiopians and Ghanaians can do some minimal jobs that Nigerians are not entitled to

most Nigerians in Dubai do self made jobs in Dubai ,

don't be decieved by this topic !!!

many security outfit in Dubai don't employ Nigerians cos u can't ride them , they prefer Indians , but go night clubs in Dubai u see naija guys doing bouncing jobs , cos they earn up to 700k a month , both from tips and salary ,

Indians directors hate Nigerians cos u can't ride them in Normal security jobs

and once a Nigerian guy know his ways he will cancel his Kobo Kobo job u give him and move on unlike other African countries

that's the truth , naija guys too tough to ride !!

Obviously true. It is only the ignorant led by the deceitful believe that all these foreign Nations are against Nigerians in preference to other Africans for any reason other than because they cannot boss Nigerians about the way they can boss other Africans. Meanwhile South Africans on here should accept they are lazy xenophobes’ with envy issues that need changing instead of going around trying to justify their actions by trying to paint a picture of Nigerians that exist only in the ephemeral realms of wishes.

Oga West Africa is easier. You can obtain passport from Benin Republic, Togo, even Sierra Leone or Gambia or Liberia within 1 year if you are ready to pay.

People are using the passport for visa lottery since they banned Nigerians.

There is no problem with skilled work as high end companies need only the expertise and not nationality. When it comes
to these unskilled works, see for yourself, I only captured a few as I languished in acrimony.

You just made a post for unskilled workers, have you tried the skilled positions, we have a lot of Nigerians here as experts working here and doing very well . They have come to realize that the most unskilled Nigerians are prone to crime.

It's not that bad as you say it I was engaged from Nigeria, my ticket and everything paid for by the company, and many others, we have a lots of Nigerians here holding Managerial positions.

And many more are still been employed from Nigeria.

I also live & work in Dubai, except the charges has changed because before my employment visa was issued, I had overstayed my visit visa for about a week & from what I saw on the receipt my company paid to immigration, it was 200aed on the first day & 100aed subsequently.

Like I said, maybe things has changed cos mine was more than 3 years ago

This is really bad! I remember when I was still searching for a job in Dubai, I managed to get an invitation for a job interview after thousands of fruitless job applications. But what got me infuriated was when I got there, the interviewer asked about my nationality, I told him am a Nigerian and he said "sorry we don't take Nigerians." Oh! I nearly pulled down that office that day. I was asking him whether he did not see where I boldly specified my nationality on my CV before inviting me for an interview. And I left all the way from Ajman to Dubai for that interview.
My brother how about teaching Jobs ? My Kenyan wife is advising me to move to Dubai for a better offer. Though I prefer staying in Kenya with my family than going to Dubai with all these news I'm reading.
