Manu needs to go back to his near perfect passing game in future. And definitely work on his defence.

Okay... I take it back.

We have blown this. There is no coming back from this. This match might end 1-4.

It is sad. I have tried to stay as patriotic as possible and I can now rest. This Nigerian U-17 team has a few genuine talents but the rest are crap.

They are not as good as any of the other U-17 teams. Even the 2003 U-17 team was better than this.

I can only take the positives. Amoo, Tijani and Olawale excite me. We couldn't see Ubani sadly and something in me knew our WC was over the moment he aggravated his injury in that first game. We missed his drive and command upfront.

I don't regret supporting this team. They do have potentials scattered all over but they are sadly not a TEAM. Time to shift focus to the U-23 and the Super Eagles.

Manu have never produced a solid defence. The 2013 team strived because we defended as a team and because we pressed our opponents into losing the ball quickly so that we can don them with possession.

Amuneke's defence in 2015 was even better.

Manu should be left to tinker the next team without interference. he should be giving all support to camp early and comb every nook and cranny of the country. And test his boys against most of the academies etc. Abroad born players should be given a FAIR chance to fight for a shirt.

Lol... I am the one who dictates the context here coz I am the one who called you out. The context is encouraging talks on these lads who no longer represent the goals of this thread.

You shone teeth for Tammy's goal... Didn't you? You quoted Abusule007 with a " grin " Emoji... That was you dropping subtly your pleasure in Abusule's comment. Like I said... You could not just resist it. You are Tammy-biased. Lol..

Look, stop playing evasive.

I am sure you know the comment I refer to. If you deny it, that says a lot about you. grin grin

And let me add Tammy willl be mentioned here even without me saying a word. Tammy is not a tabboo. He loves Nigeria. He loves the music. He likes the food. But he prefers to play for England shekina. We discuss a host of players here that has no biz with thread. We often go political and tribal..To me that's far worse than talking about a player who turned down Nigeria. The former is evil, and the latter is someone's personal choice.

You are calling me Tammy biased then what do you have to say about the people who are Tammy haters? There are many references here I can make. At least be on the fence before you throw stones.
My many posts are here and the internet does not forget.. I have gone both ways with Tammy. praised him when he is doing good and blasted hiim when he fires blank for example..Talking about people who have biases everyone here knows your association with Iheanacho. And you know how it went down last year in the award committee.. please don't let me start something..

Tammy lied against Nigeria. Tammy threw our approach to the dust and used us to boost his England chances and it worked. I don't blame him shaa... It is his life. But what he did is not decent. If you encourage that... That says so much more about you.

Also.... Cease with the silly talks and mentions of political and tribal gobbledygooks. My stand has nothing tribal or political to do with it. You trying to bring in such talks is funny and a lame attempt at twisting where I am coming from. So just halt there man.

We discuss a host of players. Yes. But under the context of the Super Eagles and keeping updates on our players.... Tammy is not one to keep an eye on. He is not ours. He is not a Super Eagle and will contribute nothing to our Super Eagles. He will get his mentions from time to time but it would always be for other matters ofcourse. We have moved on from Tammy amd we must keep it that way. Him being mentioned here can be in any other form and from any other Angle and on any other day but not on days we are keeping tabs on our talents thus attempting a derail of focus on the players we should be discussing or shining teeth for. grin

So in the Spirit of fairness wuth regard to that post... It would have been nice to see Abusule and you say Tammy on the beats again and you shine teeth as usual... Not so?

Please... This is the Super Eagles thread. We discuss a lot of off-topics here a lot of times but each has their time and season. When it's time to keep tabs on our Super Eagles Talents, Players, Prospects and other players with potential ties to Nigeria... We focus on that and leave out Tammy and the rest who dine with England or whatever nation.

I just don't wanna see focus on the real players this thread was created for fade because some people still have a bias for certain players who have even rejected playing for them. Period.

At least... Iheanacho is a Super Eagles player. He has contributed and will keep contributing to the success of the team.

As for Tammy... Not a chance. Leave him with the Queen and the Three Lions.

@bolded... Yes you still cannot resist focusing on him when we have other players who this thread is primarily associated with are in action at same time. Brother, your bias is way strong abeg... Lol

Also @bolded... I have done same with Iheanacho but ofcos you will fail to mention that. because you want have a point. grin

you no be mind reader. At least you should have waited for me to fall in that trap. And that would never have come, because truthfully i've not been checking his performances since that time... When I was even doing my SE Hopefuls series did I not drop Tammy several times when it was apparent he was no longer a hopeful. Talk less of when he don play for England.. Oga your characterization of me is way off.

You shone teeth when he scored. That is enough for me. You are using not writing an epistle for Tammy to dodge it.

And you cannot say what I can or cannot do? Mind reading is a skill that is also learnt you know. wink

Well, you fell into that trap already. That is why we are having this discussion. You are only trying to deny your " grin " smiling emoji was made in pleasure of Tammy's goal.

I am not even trying to characterise you. I am just telling you to your face on here that your Tammy bias is strong and the scent of it has since gotten to my nostrils. I just ignore it and focus on what we gotta do here... But seeing you grin from ear to ear like a Cheshire cat once Tammy's goal was dropped sealed it. Man, you tried hard not to fall into the trap but you did and thought none will notice.

Focus shifts now to the Olympic Eagles whose first game comes up on Saturday against the might of the Ivory Coast.

Last reports I checked say Awoniyi will hit camp before Saturday but we are not certain if he will be involved in the game. Azubuike will join the team as from the 11th.

Kelechi Nwakali has been picked as Captain for the game and he led the team out in a test game with Cameroun U-23 which ended goalless.

Next time Tammy scores or have an assist, I will be here to do a full blown celebration. I don't have a reason to deny something If I really did it. you are sounding funny man. This is just a forum, anyone can say anything. If I decide NOT to speak of Tammy here it's my personal decision, not because of some unwritten rules out of hate. But if you want to read false meaning into subtleties, then I may as well celebrate his goals... wetin u wan do? This thread will still move on.

Read my response.. since i told u what I meant by clears throat, you should have dropped this. that I changed it from a smiley to clears throat, it's for a reason, and you are just now making me remember. However you have been using the words "evasive". You are not a mind reader. my change from a smiley to clears throat can be interpreted in several ways. . I honestly did not remember until I re-read that your comment.

It's okay. You can lie coz I know you won't own up. Not that it bothers me but it just exposes you for who you are. You deny your Tammy bias but it is so obvious. That only speaks about you. You encouraged a talk with a "grin of pleasure" grin about a guy you even agreed should not be focused on in the light of when we talk our Super Eagles players and Prospects. A player who spat on our faces (literally that is what he did even though he does "love" the country).

I will only say this... Just focus on our actual players. Tammy is gone forever. Focus on the ones that want to play for us and are playing for us.

I see the way you always try to label Nigeria and Nigerians as one country with every one bad and everything corrupt. You sound like you are some saint while every other Nigerian is stinky. I see the way you bash this country's citizens as if all are bad eggs and command some silly arrogance.
You keep talking like the Naija foreign borns are always right and Nigeria is always wrong. Even in Eze's matter, you stand with Eze even after the lad asked for time to think about representing a nation that has now come for him.
You even made a silly comment about inviting the lad without his consent... Like what the f**k?!

Man, I have been watching. To you, Nigeria is all shades of bad while the foreign borns are all shades of good. This is partly why your bias for Tammy never wanes. You always want to drum in the negatives of the country and indirectly use that to say, "Well, Tammy was right to do what he did by dragging our open arms in the mud and throwing it into the trashcan".

Your stand on this is truly distorted and the likes of Kellycute and Chriskels (and one other Monicker I do not recall for now) have called you out on this on very few different occasions.

Eartquake1 mentions even more non Super Eagles players than anyone but he has not been shot. grin
This is not about mentioning and getting shot. It is about when your true allegiance lies.... Is it with those guys who reject Nigeria or with Nigeria inspite of her many flaws?

It is their decision alright and I always have and will respect that and move on. But you keep making funny and silly excuses for them as if they are all right and saintly.

Action speaks... But In this case... What you post about and where you stand speaks.
