Lol I never lied. At least my conscience does not bother me because what you have been referring to I just now realized. But you've got it all wrong.. I hope this is not how you mis-read people in real like. If so you will not keep good relationships.. But I really think written word and spoken words are two differnt things. I'm hoping this is not what you normally do. I will give you the benefit of the doubt. If I have to read this your epistle this back and forth will not end.. but I really don't have the time to tackle this your mission to defame me, right now. I have always been the one to say the obvious, and it's not going to change. Time and time will always vindicate what i've said. When I have more time I will read this your entire post, and will respond where/if necessary. I need to handle other issues here. TheSuperNerd: 2 Likes |

You were quick to call them average but you fail to see the potentials and bright spots in the team inspite of their many flaws. You do this almost everytime with almost every National team of ours at major tournaments. You have repeated same pattern again. Predictable. Joebie: 1 Like |

Like I already said. You will lie and you have done so. Mission to defame you? Lol... You overrate yourself man. I am only stating what you thought others missed. But it is okay. You have given me what I already knew you would give me. So long.. Joebie: 2 Likes |

So you do admit that you had a smiley (smiling grin emoji) at first... This is what I asked but you initially evaded and now have remembered abi... Beautiful. That settles it then. Your other explanations are bogus and attempts to just cover up. The fact you admit you indeed used a smiley grin for Tammy's goal shows I was saying the truth. EOD. Have a fine day Joebie. Neither do I care about you caring or not. Lol... Point is you have answered the question. You did smile like a Cheshire cat over that Tammy goal post and later changed it to avoid "falling into the trap". Well my good man... There you have it. That is all I wanted to nail down. The truth. You not caring is not my bother at all. Now. Bonjour. Joebie: 2 Likes |

Thanks for admitting you used the "Smiling grin emoji... ... over a Tammy goal update post, of course after some moments of and several attempts at silly evasion. The truth is if you didn't have something to hide... You would have left it the way it was. Chikena... Case closed. Bottomline... Genuinely focus on the players that really matter with respect to the thread. P.S: I just knew you would deny the emoji thing at first but ofcos your conscience no go gree u. Funny how you suddenly remembered. #selah Have a grinning day. Joebie: 3 Likes |

Corruption will ruin Nigerian football. Manu Garba and Ugbade are a disgrace. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Honestly, I just didn't wanna dwell on this but it is clear that the manner and ways in which Manu got his best squad for the 2013 edition was not repeated in 2019. Manu got lazy and allowed Corruption in. He knew what to do but he didn't do it. It is not like he hasn't been here before. The positives from this set are not much but I just gotta take that as I move on from this U-17 mess of 2019. I hope Tijani and Amoo and even Sa'id go on to be very awesome footballers. It depends on their next steps now. tbaba1234: 1 Like |

The Olympic Eagles and the Super Eagles are all I've got this year to look at as we round off 2019. I hope the year end in smiles and Joy on both teams. P.S: I know the Super Sand Eagles have a World Cup but... Dat one na for sand naa 2 Likes |

tbaba1234:They did it in 2013 and it paid off so why won't they do it again. It's the Nigerian way virtually all local coaches do it even the NFF know about it, it will be very difficult to stop corruption in our football |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 4:34am On Nov 06, 2019 |
Manu Garba has been corrupted. There is no point leaving him at under 17. This was his worst team because they kept dropping better players to accommodate those who paid. |

jihday: There was far more merit in 2013. Now, under 17 is a gold mine so people are flashing money at them. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:40am On Nov 06, 2019 |
A lot of merit I must say. We didn't have a good bench. Ubani got injured and viola!! End of discussion. Olawale is good but he is much more effective as a no.9 not when he plays from the wings. The Australia game shows that. If we had a strong Ubani replacement, Segun may have been benched to allow Olawale lead the line as he is bigger, taller and stronger. In 2013, when Isaac Success got injured and was ruled out of the tournament. His replacement stepped up and delivered the goods. That set had game changers in the starting XI and on the bench. The 2015 team put together by Amuneke was very solid too and some very good scouting and screening processes was done although not as rigorous as the one done in 2013 that birthed/uncovered other talents who didn't even get to play at the World Cup like Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure... Ovie Ejaria... Etc. Even the 2015 set gave us Awaziem but some don't know this. I am sure you know this coz we have mentioned this before now. A lot of merit was indeed trash-canned in 2019. The team only had some sprinkles of genuine talent in Amoo, Tijani and two or three others unlike the 2013 and 2015 teams that had genuine quality oozing from a majority of the team players. tbaba1234: 2 Likes |

I do not mind changing all our national teams to foreigners. Give a local coach and it is only a matter of time before bribes become the order of the day. 3 Likes |

I wish Amuneke can return to give us one last run as our U-17 coach ahead of 2021 but I don't think he will agree. I do hope he can agree. I believe he was the brain behind Manu's scouting in 2013. Amuneke did it again on his own without Ugbade and Manu and he gave us Osimhen, Chukwueze, K.Nwakali, Lukman Zakari (now at Real Betis B), Okwonkwo Orji, Kingsley Michael, John Lazarus (now with Lobi Stars and Naija U-23s), and Udochukwu Anumudu (now with Lobi Stars and Naija U-23s). We need to uncover even more diamonds in the rough scattered throughout the length, breadth and heights of Nigeria that will be 17 or U-17 by 2021. But this is only a short term thing. We cannot focus on just 2021. We have to "permanently" establish a system that churns out U-17 super talents year in, year out. The NFF/Zenith Bank Future Eagles initiative is good but it has to be expanded upon and made more detailed Nationwide. The NPFL/LMC U-15s initiative too should be made a permanent thing and expanded upon too. Every club should be mandated to have youth teams running from U-13s till U-18s and a youth league be established for them to see them compete and the best year in, year out uncovered. We have to do more...... Much much more. 2 Likes |

I think Amuneke can do another fine job at U-17 level but two things... One is he may not agree to return to u-17 football. And two is stories of bribes and agents chaos must still arise as it did even in the 2015 set although Amuneke was able to navigate through all that. A foreigner... Well what about a Nigerian that have worked in that foreign environment? A Finidi George can come in if we desire a change. I remember he was in the running at one time to be U-17 coach. tbaba1234: 1 Like |

We had faith in the team even though we were not seeing the kind of Sparks we saw from the previous teams. Well, it is not over yet. We can only hope and wish some of the boys can go ahead and do greater things. I couldn't watch the full game due to some other engagements. |

Even the Golden Eaglets class of 2016/2017 that failed to even qualify for the U-17 Afcon gave us Igho Ogbu who is now with Rosenberg BK on loan to Sogndal. Lad is still just 19 and a talented CB. I hope this 2019 Golden Eaglets Class see a few of them go on to be the real deal in their future club careers and for the National teams of Nigeria. My eyes are strongly on Akinkunmi Amoo, Samson Tijani, Ibrahim Sa'id, Peter Olawale, Joseph Oluwabusola, Daniel Jinadu, and believe it or not Olakunle Olusegun who although frustrated the heck outta me but I see real talent in the kid if harnessed well. I cannot say much for Wisdom Ubani but I do hope the injury setback which prevented him from being seen properly at this World Cup doesn't hamper his move to a good side that brings out the unreal talents he has. A dark horse among those I didn't mention could go on and mature into a very decent footballer or maybe not. Time will tell. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Icon4s: U and who had the faith? Me and my ilks who see and accept things for what they truly are, never believed in the team Bkus we saw the handwriting early enough on the wall and chose to stand our ground by not getting deluded in the name of patriotism. The selection was far from being fair and they were lucky to get this far. The team was crap |
