Boss.. What do youu mean by his temperament? Is he too gentle or too aggressive??

Too gentle for my liking, I went for this type because i need tough dogs that'd be well trained by me to guard the house. That's one of the reason I don't do toy breeds

The key is not to overdo in terms of his feeding. This will prevent you from being too anxious about his turn out. Also, always note that not all quality dogs really look quality. Gustaf might not look like what we see on the internet but might be able to produce excellent puppies. It's genes that matter. Since you got your Boerboel from a reputable breeder, be rest assured that quality pups are guaranteed.

Yes this is what most people keep on saying, well i think it's true.

So you mean i should breed him?

IamAnderson:

how's his temperament?

Too calm for my liking though he's beginning to change recently

I guess he wants to do to Augusto what Murphy did to him, to become dominant and play the alpha role before the other dog grows up but do you really think Augusto will let that happen when he matures??

as long as you don't feed him the peel and seeds then he's fine, paw-paw is good for digestion and it's rich in vitamins

Alright. Noted

Came back late last night and had no time to prepare dinner for Gustaf so i checked around to see what i could get to serve him because i was also hungry and exhausted.

I remembered he is a lover of pawpaw, rushed to the garden then plucked a mini pawpaw head for Gustaf, sliced it into moderate size because he is used eating big chunks of food. He ate everything and i saved myself the stress for that day undecided

I don't know if pawpaw is really good for dogs, any suggestion??

if gustaph want to be dominant over augusto or him becoming d alpha of d pack... to my little understanding it depend on augusto temperament if he is a cool dog, gustaph wins but boerboel are stubborn and very territorial nd from your write up u said augusto is already marking it territory.. Let see how it turns it shaa we can't say for now

Amen o I trust him but if he does I might give up on dogs totally this time embarassed
hahaha my boy is definition of terror although he did not start early but when e start e no look back at all. he started barking when he was 5 months but confidence was not really there he will bark at you , try to attack if you stand your ground he will back of but nowadays if he barks he will attack if you like stand like rock you must go down I remember when I first got him my neighbors were laughing that I got a dumb gluttonous dog he was either eating or sleeping if you like pass him 100 times we will not answer you someone even had a bet with me that's he's not going to bark until next year but now those same neighbors he was friendly with he doesn't even want to see them . his confidence is 100 % he's not afraid of bikes, tricycles, cars at all he ready follow motor drag road his territoriality is 100/100 the only time he is normal is if we are outside he acts cool but if you approach without caution he will react immediately at nights he is even worse he knows some of my friends during the day but when night comes they turn enemies. people compared him with my German Shepherd that started barking the day I brought her in and they did not believe he will ever turn out like this

You're the one feeding and caring for them so how will they forget you??

I won't personally let my dog forget me. Is he mad grin
lol not that kind of forget I mean he will be more interested in the other sibling a dog should be more interested in his owner

That's the point, Augusto may not let him not just because he's a boerboel but he's a tough guy with a nice temperament. When he arrived at first, the way he walked, colour, eye type and all that scared gustaf away for 2weeks imagine lol

I had personally requested for a pup with good nerves among the litter which is what the breeder offered me, below is the caption he sent me 2months ago showing me Augusto for the first time.

It's me Vincent, I was banned this afternoon for a reason I don't even know

Will mix with kibbles, soup, rice, soya bean cake, fruits(paw paw, guava, carrot) and all that

I told you a while ago and even used Eric as an example (not saying Eric is not beautiful ooo) but there are usually difference in appearance of puppies from a litter, doesn’t mean their gene can’t produce good result, if they told you that Eric, Ethan, Erator, Easton, you might doubt cos although they all look wonderful, there is a significant difference, Ethan and Erator look very much alike while Easton and Eric look more alike. But they all produce excellent puppies cos of gene

Yes you did, you seem to know these E-litter so well. What about Eve you didn't mention her, she looks bigger than erator and Ethan although she isn't a long coated DDR gsd

So there you go, you yourself can confirm it that they all usually turn out different, I didn’t mention Eve because she is a female. So does the fact that Eve looks bigger makes the others not good? There should always be one unique thing about them, Ethan Nd Erator are long coats but Eric and Easton’s are short, although Easton hair is slightly longer, and Eve as you have mentioned is bigger
