I'm glad to see that we're beginning to change your mind a bit. But you're not there yet, I want you to be a total convert. Maybe we have to beat the Clippers for that to happen. And I promise they'll suffer at least two defeats in the hands of the Lakers this regular season, and at least one would be a blowout.
You're a very funny guy. Kawhi dey learn work where you dey walahi

As if this was not me when the team was formed. This idea that the Lakers are any kind of underdog we must strongly correct
A40:
No no all jokes aside. If you're talking chemistry issues perhaps but from a talent standpoint the Lakers have the best roster in the league by a distance.
If I knew this would be the outcome of players they would land I wouldn't troll them for not getting Kawhi

I repeat Boogie Cousins and Kyle Kuzma are their third best players. Boogie Cousins has the 5th highest scoring average among active players. He's still only 28.

It will be a crying disgrace and a huge stain on LeNomad's legacy if this team doesn't win it all

Most of those comment were more about LeBron losing step due to father time more than being washed. See ehn, maybe you guys should stop seeing every comment you don't agree with as a slander.
The lots came to talk about how Curry is no longer the best point guard in the league after two games.
So perhaps you should chill with the double standard thing.
Yes, LeBron has stepped up playing better on ball and help defense this season but folks can't really say much for his defense when he has been known to avoid guarding guys who can be as good as he is like Kawhi, KD several times in the finals, Giannis, etc because those moments stick to memory. Many times last season when he wouldn't switch on defense and gesture asking where the help was when it was fault for not switching. One time it got so bad Kuzma had to push him to pick up an open man. So, it might take more than 10 regular season games with defensive guys like Dwight and AD to convince some people who don't remember him for his defense because of history and yes we always see those chase down blocks on small boys. grin
Anyways, he has been playing good on both ends for the most of this season and the other day I raved about his performance one LeMinion was saying I was 'famzing' because I don't ride LeBron's díck. I even talked about the Lakers playing like they can win it all but as usual, you don't see all that except Ersan. It's not double standard if people here keep quiet because to you, it must be the good stuff about LeBron or nothing.

You people arent going to let this kuzma thing are you? Questioning lebrons defense is ridiculous. 6 time all defense (about to make another one), 2 time DPOY runner up (robbed in 2013). Yes hes slouched during the regular season but the same lebron shut down d rose in the playoffs, guarded KD in the 2011 finals in crucial possessions, i've seen lebron guard pau gasol, giannis, jokic, blake griffin, porzingis etc in fourth quarters to devastating effect. Of course its easier playing defense with other defensive players (dont forget bradley, hes been a pest), less offensive workload and with the effort that hes putting in so why do people have selective memories? why would you want lebron expending so much energy guarding the likes of kawhi kd and co this late into his career when he has so much offensive workload? Kawhi kd and co will still get theirs, what good does it do when he wastes his energy on a futile exercise and he falters where hes most effective? Miami lebron was an all time defensive player and this is the most engaged hes been on defense since then.

The clippers got the lakers on the opening night of the season, a new team with no chemistry and no real philosophy and they barely escaped. I'm glad its fanned the flames of the detractors, will make it all the more satisfying when the lakers cut them down to size. I cant wait until we get our hands on them again, show them a whole different world of hurt. Forget christmas day, i want them in the WCF, i dont want any other team to get the pleasure of crushing the hype train. I really can't wait.

If the lakers start slow again against miami as they probably will then they will surely lose. Miami is well coached and steely. Very good defensively as well. That and every true Lebron fan knows that the most effective lebron stopper isnt kawhi or paul george its jimmy butler. Hes still going to get lit up but lebron has a bad record in the regular season against his teams. I think the run is coming to an end on friday, i hope they prove me wrong though.

What am I saying, what are you saying? This one flew over your head for sure. You basically supported the argument about him not playing defense in recent years due to how father time has affected him.
Notice how you said nothing positive of his defense since 2013. Oh and I've seen Kawhi guard KD, Giannis, Irving and Gobert too while carrying offensive load. undecided

Everything about LeBron to you is criticism even when you end up reiterating what I said.

You were trying to refute the claim that lebron is a capable defender when hes elite. Why should lebron not guarding kawhi and co now be a knock on his legacy as a defender? If kawhi goes into his 17th season and is still guarding the other teams best player then you can talk, the same kawhi we saw running away from devin booker just a few games ago? LMAO! Like i said, lebron this year has a better defensive rating than kawhi and giannis, on course to make all defense, so why are you crying because someone said hes been playing great defense and you start to bring up select situations from his past?If you want to talk about how bad hes been in the past then talk about how great hes been most of his past. Its not the criticism its the hypocrisy and double standards when it comes to lebron that gets to me. When i people criticized lebron for playing bad in the first game did i claim that he didnt? Some arguments just dont make any sense. We are not on the same page, at all!

Seems like you're the one crying about his defense cos I explicitly mentioned that he's playing great on both ends of the court this season. This defensive tears you're shedding here is your problem.

No we ain't. Once they added Baynes and Rubio I knew they'd automatically be better. And those two were excellent at the world cup (Rubio winning MVP and all).

Nevertheless, they wouldn't have won the sixers if Embiid played.

You people too like narrative. Abeg die this father time myth. As LeBron is playing elite defence this season, is it that he reached father time then suddenly went younger? Isn't father time supposed to continue until he retires? Just because of one singular incident last year, we no go hear word again.

I guess you were blind twice when I wrote those up there. If anyone spends all their time criticizing his every move on this forum, it's because of Lebtards like you. You can go as far as criticize every athlete even up to their personal life but once it's one true criticism about LeBron, you can't take it. Talking about "you should have stopped here". I clearly saw what you wrote. I was talking about the narrative of last season. If the reason he played trash D last season was because of father time, he surely should be playing much worse D this season, after all he's a year older.

My NBA Awards Prediction

MVP - LeBron James
DPOY - Anthony Davis
Sixth Man - Kyle Kuzma
MIP - Dwight Howard
COTY - Frank Vogel

The Lakers are going to sweep the awards, just like the finals.

Like I said we watch the games and see how he switches his defenders. We've seen it several times over the years and numerous times in the finals vs KD and not your bullcrap 2mins plus and 1mins plus nonsense. And I'm not talking about his offense here. You don't talk like we don't watch the games. You can't fool anyone on this.

You are seriously talking about switches? LMAO! You think if a player is bent on guarding you all it takes is a switch to get away from him? Kawhi could have gone at lebron consistently if he wanted to, we saw that he didnt and when he did he got cooked, and when lebron was tasked with guarding him he never shied away from the assignment, using your logic kawhi ran from lebron as well. People are pissed lebron didnt guard him because he got hot at some point. If kawhi at this stage of his career isnt singling out bron why should bron single him out? I guess we can say kawhi was so scared of giannis' revenge tour he straight up refused to even play.

BTW, That last sentence, i'm glad you learned to give a compliment without a caveat. It was that simple and if that was all you did we wouldnt be having this discussion right now.
