The recently released Redmi devices all have decent specs but... Am I the only one who feels they are unnecessarily heavy?
The Redmi 7 series are not even as thick and heavy.
Devices should be getting slimmer not the other way round.

Apart from the Redmi 8 which is 5000Mah, the Note 8 and A3 both have the same battery capacity so my question still remains.
Not as aesthetically pleasing and sleek as it seems on paper.

Compared to the Note 7 with same battery specs

I haven't handled both.

But I think the plastic vs glass factor contributed

Gracias. Good evening.
Tried to apply other themes in your suggestion but the battery icon didn't change. I tried to apply only icon in the customization section. E no work

Disable dark mode and try to apply the theme , then reboot
I once tried to apply a theme like that with my phone on dark mode the thing no change na later I off the dark mode re apply and it works

At 178.8G how is Mi A3 heavy?

You forget that the Redmi Note 8 uses a glass protection and glass does not reduce the weight of a device.

Xiaomi HQ is their office no sales or repairs there. Raya houses their service centers.

Was this necessary? It's his opinion... Another person might like gcam more...

For me I only use gcam for portrait, nightshots and low light..

Daytime stock..

It's all about preference

Saw the links, but quite finicky with downloading the wrong package and entering brickland. Been ages I last went techy, I don't have liver for all those tweakings. Was also thninkg a pa will be required. I no fit....is pc a requirement?
No PC is required download the OTA then go to system update click on the MIUI icon 10 times. Then click on the three vertical dots at the upper right corner you should see choose update package then locate the downloaded ROM and keep your data ON
As for the theme what Kvngwitty posted

You can download the full rom and update manually or clear cache/storage of affected apps. You'll lose app data though

This life is funny sha.... Someone is already complaining about Miui 11 while some are ready to download it for any means as soon as possible...

Why not wait till you receive it on your phone... The longer the better
