I had wished this was correct. When the Nigeria/Biafra war started, there two major crude oil fields in Nigeria and both were located in eastern region, Oloibiri and Owaza.

What language is Oloibiri and Owaza?

So we should start opening our yanshes? Ok na.

The Eastern minorities especially Ijaws and Calabars must do the following;

1. Apologize to the Igbos for seizing their properties and killing the Igbos in rivers, Calabar. Also return WAEC building owned by Ojukwu to Ojukwu's family. Ken Saro Wiwa seized that WAEC building from Ojukwu. Ojukwu built it from his sweat.

2. Make slavery reparations for the Igbos. Ijaws were constantly kidnapping Isuama Igbos in 19th century to Slavery. The Ijaws were serving as middlemen in the slavery. One manilla= 8 Igbo slaves according to them.
Eastern minorities we the Igbos are still waiting for our slavery reparations.

Arochukwu also kidnapped Igbo! That one is a family issue for us!

Look, dont make me talk on Friday morning. You hear? angry

Oloibiri wasn't the first to discover. It was Imo state. Everyone knows this. So how come Ojukwu saw the Biafran struggle as an advantage to steal oil whereas Imo discovered oil first?

There were two oil fields discovered in Nigeria before Oloibiri. The first was situated 8 miles north of Owerre town on Owerre/Okigwe road. The second in Akatta in today's Akwa Ibom State.

If you really know your facts, you should not have posed the above stupid question. I guess Oloibiri is in Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa State and Owaza is in Ukwa West LGA of Abia State. The majority of inhabitants of Ogbia do not speak "Ijo" while all inhabitants of Ukwa (both West and East) speak Igbo.

What about the killings of Igbos in 1945 and 1953? Were these killings a form of revenge for the 1966 coup?

Exactly! I wonder why you guys didn't
just leave the union then? The northerners have never hidden their feelings toward us, southerners- their potential countrymen. In fact, they singled you guys out for special treatment YET you lot were still obsessed about the prospect of One faked United nigeria where you will soon be calling the shot.

Hence you guys persevered with the '45 and '53 killings of your kinsmen by the fulani henchmen with the mind that you will in time outsmart the illiterate Sardunna and his Grade II teacher side-kick.

You guys were so confident of yourselves that you even fought vehemently to have the succession clause omitted from our young constitution.

Dunce Osu caste system exists in no part of Igboland, the last traces of it in few parts of Igboland have been legislatively banned for good. We can't say the existing Christian vs yoruba Muslim dichotomies that are very much still present, however subtly projected or hidden...I have several Yoruba Christian friends who have told me they can't even marry a Yoruba of the Muslim fate, and I have on firsthand basis experienced some animosity between the Christian and Muslim and most recently traditional worshipping communities in Yorubaland. You can fool yourselves with the fake Yoruba unity gimmick, but in the broader reality of things... no ethnic group is more united than the Igbos right now, and it helps that we are homogeneously united by one common religion and ideology.

I posted a recent news article with verifiable source, your best retort is this rubbish? Well if you must know, the most popular Christian denomination in Igboland is the Catholic church, which makes up about 60% of the demography... with the rest evened out among Anglicans and Pentecostals. And in all my years of existence living within and outside Igboland, I have never seen or heard of any incident of catholics fighting Anglicans and otherwise...maybe they happen, but they are very isolated cases of such if any- they're far and between. And even in the worst case scenario or event of conflicts between Catholics vs Anglicans as you claim( and yes church politics is a common problem among inter-denomitional churches in the East... that I'll admit), but it never gets to the level of physical violence - burning of each other's churches or properties etc like we see happen in the Southwest where traditional worshippers literally go to war against Muslims or Christians with cases of actual violence reported...you will NEVER hear of such nonsense among Igbo Christians of all denominations.

If a Catholic Bishop from Imo was appointed to head the Catholic Diocese in Anambra, the Anambra people will reject him. There are plenty incidences of your dicriminatory practices even amongst your Christianity fold in SE.

You are more divided as Christians and you are unhappy that Christians and Muslims in Yorubaland coexist peacefully. Everyday Ibo come to internet trying to sow discord and make us act savagely like you do in your region.

We knew who Jesus was before whiteman got religion and brought it here. We inhabited Kaaba before Muhammed gave Islam to Arabs. The Yoruba knowledge of God in Orisa, Christianity, Islam is far advanced and more pure than you can find anywhere else in Nigeria or in Africa....or even in the Universe for that matter. A Yorubaman was the missionary responsible for giving you Bible and religion in Iboland.

If you want to be schooled let me know...I will take you to the root.
