Bear007: I don’t advice PGD cuz it takes 9 months I think you should do BCS it’s a diploma you don’t need to have a background the diploma itself is the foundation course and it’s in March result comes out a few months after and you can enter the pool instead of waiting 9 months then federal school wahala of processing transcripts. My opinion. 2 Likes |

IT’S PPR Guys. Shout of Victory! “ Great is Thy faithfulness !” Great is Thy faithfulness!” Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided-“Great is Thy faithfulness,”Lord unto me! God has been good to my family…when the Lord changed our status, we were like them that dreamed. It is my turn to give back to this great forum, in which I have gained so much from. And I hope my testimony would serve as a blessings to others looking unto God for breakthrough in this canada journey . TIMELINE: IELTS: November 10th 2018 (BC Lagos) PA- 1st attempt LRWS- 8.5,8.5,7,8 WES PA: February 2019 WES Spouse: September 2018 ITA: April 3rd 2019 (CRS 471) AOR: April 28th 2019 MEP: June 10th 2019 BIL: June 13th 2019 1st ADR: June 6th 2019 ( schedule A) 2nd ADR: October 24th ( Passport Renewal) Ghost update: November 1st PPR: 1.38AM November 5th,dated November 4th. VO: Ottawa Family of 4 DECISION TO TRAVEL In December 2017, my brother got his PR and this inspired my hubby and I to embark on this beautiful journey. He showed us his COPR/VISA to clear our doubt that this express entry is damn real. No time to waste as everybody don dey japa….and the state of this nation wasn’t encouraging . I don’t want my children to face all these naija wahala, the future looks scary. I had been privileged to have lived abroad before and I know how the systems works over there. So we rolled up our sleeves and started this Canada journey in 2018. ECA (WES) We registered for WES before they started asking for waec arround June 2018. I used etx to process my transcript, but those guys really disappointed me , story for another day. Until a friend introduced his contact person who assisted me to process my MBA transcript & verification despite ASUU strike. My spouse wes was smooth as a result of UK degree , the process was faster than mine. IELTS The fear of IELTS is the beginning of wisdom . I thank God for his mercy, my first & only attempt November 2018 LRWS- 8.58.578. Yayyyy oya jo soapy !!. I was so delighted with my results seeing how people are retaking the exam and the cost implications. I fear o! However, hubby didn’t have to write IELTS because our CRS score was high enough to get us ITA. MEDICALS: I started calling Qlife for upfront medical December 2018, I was able to get 2 slots in February and May 2019. We later choose the February date for our upfront medical , everything went well for family of 4. The following month I got a call from Qlife if we still wanted to use the May date, I told them to give it out to another family. PCC We used ASP Moshood a very fine officer indeed. Spent like an hour for the whole process and we paid 10k ( 5k each for hubby and I) . WORK REFERENCE: My manager who is my direct supervisor gave me my job reference letter on a plain sheet in CIC format , he signed the letter and I went to notarize it. Meanwhile, the day I went to collect the letter my manager was asking me to explain how this Canada express entry works, I just smiled and we gisted about the process small. Oga sef won Japa from naija….hmmmm! POF: 100% GIFT deed from my dad , he transferred the money into my account and I bought TBILLS for 181 days and printed a month bank statement joined. PLACEHOLDERS ( Principal Applicant) Marriage Certificate: I uploaded my marriage certificate Medical Exam: E- medical receipt given to me at Qlife PCC: I merged the Nigeria PCC with the other 2 forms. Passport/ Travel document: I merged my scanned current Bio data page and all stamp page only. No need for old passport details. EDUCATION: I merged the following docs 1. IELTS test report 2. Wes report 3. Degree Certificate LEGAL NAME CHANGE 1. Sworn affidavit 2. Newspaper Publication POF: I arrange my POF as follow; 1. LOE 2. Bank reference letter 3. Bank letter of non-indebtedness 4. Tbills certificate 5. Gift deed letter 6. 1 month bank statement 7. Evidence of transfer receipt EMPLOYMENT RECORDS: 1. LOE 2. Work reference letter 3. Offer letter 4. Confirmation letter 5. Six months pay stubs 6. Six months salary account statement 7. Official work ID SIBLING POINT: I submitted my sibling PR card scanned both front and back 1. Bio Data page passport for both of us 2. Birth certificate for both of us from Local government not attestation of birth sha. 3. Utilities bill, phone bill and bank statement showing address 4. Our parents wedding certificate Hubby PCC: Both Nigeria PCC & UK PCC CHILDREN Passport document: child 1- Nigeria Passport. Child 2- USA Passport only Birth certificate both children and E- medical receipt. POST AOR I got two ADR for schedule A and Passport renewal. I called CIC after 3 months was told criminality and medical pass , VO Ottawa while others not started . Hmmmm, the wait no be small thing we prayed , fasted and sometimes got angry with myself as if something was wrong with our application. Lool, if man can see tomorrow ehn , I for no put myself on so much worry. We ordered GCMS note everything looked good , except a note file packed due to review required on client information. Longggggg silence from CIC for 4 months , no ghost update . I just left everything to God and move on with my life. I got another ADR in October for passport renewal and submitted on time. First ghost update on November 1st . The ultimate golden mail came in on November 5th , dated November 4th. My good people it’s has ended in praise for us AOR to PPR 6 months and 1 week . Thanks to April / May whatsapp group you guys rock. I have gained so much from this platform. Hence , am giving back for the benefit of future Canadian applicants . Question 1: Please, how did you get your Tax Clearance in Nigeria as a Supermarket Owner? Any referrals, I will really appreciate.[/quote] Tax clearance certificate is not automatic. Have you been declaring the profit you realized from your super market business? Have you been filing your tax returns to date? Do you have a Payer ID (Lagos resident)? If your answer to the above question is yes, then you can request for your tax clearance certificate from LIRS. |

Have been a member of this thread since part 8 (silence reader). I took the bold step to start my Canada PR process in August after two (2) of my colleagues resigned and travel to Canada. Have been away from this thread for just 5 days and I have to pay the price of reading the thread from where I stopped till the last page. If you are lazy to read, Maybe this CanadaPr DIY is not your thing, u might need to part away with some Cash for hungry agents to help you. BACK TO MY OWN PROBLEM I applied for the processing of my transcript at Unilag since August and it seems this transcript thing gonna take forever. Even after sending email to vc and copying the exams and records unit. The best they could do was to respond to my email, that an official will will be assigned to my file. After the email, my application status changed to 'Inprogress'. Since then, nothing has happened. Suggestion I would like to create a WhatsApp group to this effect, anyone affected by this Unilag transcript mess can join the WhatsApp group. I have some clues on how we can go about it, but I wouldn't want to share it here, being a public space. We really need to escalate this Unilag transcript mess and I believe if we take the bold steps to be discussed on the WhatsApp group, this might change Unilag transcript story forever. Kindly send a WhatsApp message "I WILL LIKE TO BE TO ADDED" to this number zero eight one zero zero zero seven zero two eight two. Regards 5 Likes 1 Share |

It's been a pleasure sis. Let me reiterate, there's no amount of info I'll give you that can satisfy your thirst to know everything in this whole process at once. You'll still need to visit page one and first click on the Express Entry and PNP links to know more. Based on the info you provided, your hubby seems to be in an advantageous position to be the PA (Primary Applicant). Why? Because he's still less than 30. Though, apparently, you're younger than him, your not having up to 3years paid work experience will lower the CRS with you as PA. Now you can see why he should be the PA! In terms of Education, you are at par because you have a degree each. To get your hubby to improve you guys' CRS towards an ITA-fetching (ITA=Invitation To Apply) one, he needs to add another certificate like CIMA, BCS, a PGD, etc so that he can claim 2 or more Certificates. Note: I did a calculation of your CRS with your hubby as PA, using the details you provide and it stands at 436. What made it that high is his age but then, if I may be blunt, that score is still not near one that can get you an ITA under FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) program with the current trend. Pls visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp and confirm scores using your hubby's details. However, your hubby's CRS might get an ITA if you venture into PNP (Provincial Nominee Program). Yet again, Page 1 has more info. If your hubby's job is in demand in any of Canada's provinces, except Quebec (and if your husband is vast in French, why not?), he can apply to some of the provinces or hope to be picked by others if he ticked them as Province of Interest while filling his EE profile. You must know that some of these provinces highly favour applicants who have relatives staying in them, aside the in-demand jobs. You will still need to read more to know the other conditions attached to accepting and being valid to get the extra 600points associated with PNP. You mentioned 'a family friend' but family friends don't have any direct influence on the outcome of your EE process, aside using their address for your ECA and of course making you feel welcomed when you finally land in Canada; that's even if you find yourself in the same province as them! But you can claim points from siblings or step-siblings, yours or hubby's, in the case of FSW and in addition to that, from uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, grandmas, grandpas etc of certain age limit, in the case of PNP. And for you and hubby's education credentials to count, both must be assessed by any suitable evaluating body in Canada. I already assumed both of you have had your ECA, that's why your hubby earned points which made up to the 436 above, derived from the CRS tool. And I also assumed both of you sat for IELTS and had L-R-W-S of at least 8-7-7-7. To write IELTS, you both must have your valid travel passport ready. Page 1 has links to study materials and other useful tips. Moreso, for your hubby to earn points for his job as a self-employed individual, he must be able to prove that his business is registered, must be able to present Tax (clearance) Certificate, must have evidence that he earns monthly from the business, must have some sort of written endorsement from some of his customers.. etc After reading the recommended page 1s of previous Parts 1-8 and still not clear on certain issues, please ask more questions. You'll always get response from anyone here. That I'm so sure of. All the best! Meeddah: 16 Likes |
