The state of our national teams -- my proposal

We need to start our next U17 program now. A new coach contracted with a very attractive salary
Finidi George to be assisted by Fidelis Ilechukwu
Scouting must start in earnest at different levels

Manu Garba should be contracted with the U20s. He should be given a chance to undo his wrongs with the same pool of players he worked with for the period of time he scouted the team and screened the last U17 team. He should be given the ultimatum to inject any deserving players outside this pool. He should be assessed based on test games as early as possible.
Emmanuel Amuneke will give him the needed tactical cover. Yes they should work together again, and maybe Nduka Ugbade as well.

Our U23 coach, Imama, should be sacked regardless of the outcome of the Tokyo Olympic qualifiers. The team should be taken over by a newly appointed tactical assistant to Gernhot Rohr. Rohr's new assistant should also be saddled with CHAN duties. The man I have in mind is Michael Emanalo. But can we pay him?

The Super Falcons should be taken over by Maureen Nkeiruka Mmadu.
nooooooooooo, Abeg we need new hands, as it is we don't have anybody that can coach the SE if situation demand we go local, we need to start grooming people those people in the bolded have nothing tangible to offer. We've seen Manu and Ugbade coach the U-20 to a world cup nothing came out of it, Amunike couldn't even qualify us for the 2017 U-20 nations cup.
Emenalo can never work for us, we can't pay him unless he wants to do charity for us plus how do you know he's tactically good? Have you seen him coach before?

Wilfred Ndidi delivered a masterclass in midfield for Leicester City as they beat Arsenal 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening, with fans lauding the importance of the Super Eagle in the Foxes team.

Jamie Vardy and James Maddison scored the goals for Brendan Rodgers men in the smash-and-grab victory but it was the 22-year-old who seemingly was receiving all the praise on social media.

Ndidi was on for the entirety of the game and even came to breaking the deadlock when his shot rattled the crossbar in the 48th minute.

Check out some reactions on his performance below,

@FTalentScout: Wilfred Ndidi vs Arsenal30 passes 90% pass accuracy 1 key pass 3 dribbles won 7 tackles won 3 interceptions 2 clearances 3 aerials won. Beast. One of the best ball-winning midfielders in World football. .

@Blue_Footy : Ndidi is what Arsenal need not Guendouzi who is running all over the place like a headless chicken.

@unitedevil1: It's mad to think Leicester replaced Kante with Ndidi, maaad recruitment.

@therealsxpectr: Ndidi is literally onto any loose ball in midfield in a flash ⚡.

@statmandave: Wilfred Ndidi's game by numbers vs. Arsenal: 100% final third pass accuracy 90% pass accuracy 7/10 tackles won - most on the pitch 5 ball recoveries. 3 successful take-ons 3 interceptions 0 goals conceded. Such a vital player for Leicester. .

@blaise_ko: Ndidi is everything Rice and Torreira Dream to become.

@iamOkon: When Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi gets home and empties his pockets after #LEIARS :

@Alayonimii: Ndidi is miles ahead everybody!! Ndidi is King #LEIARS.

@Beakay: Ndidi is disrespected big time.

@mediocentro: Ndidi is levels above Torreira.

@adam_okon: Wilfred Ndidi is the best defensive midfielder in the premier league. Periodt !!!

@theejike: Leicester's Ndidi is a monster. The Leicester defence barely had anything to do the whole game, & to be honest when they did they weren't that impressive. Laca had 2 big moments in the first half. But they are shielded so well by Ndidi. #LEIARS

@United_Aidan: So under appreciated. Wilfred Ndidi the man who always doesn't get enough praise but he always wins the ball back. He's as good as Maddison and Tielemans

I dont speak nonsense when i beat my chest and say this is our only world class player

Andrew.... Coming into this season, i termed Ndidi, a near world class player. But right now... The lad has cemented his new status week after week in the glamorous EPL as a Truly world class player... World class midfield enforcer... World class DM and the best DM in Europe currently.

He is now in that world class league. Give it up for Ndidi, the Octopus.

Without Ndidi in that Leicester Midfield, Tielemans and Maddison won't do the magic they do week after week... Ndidi's solidity and growing grace in that role gives them freedom to wreck havoc.

Jamie Redknapp believes Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is the type of player Arsenal have needed in their side for years.

Ndidi has impressed in Leicester’s fine start to the season under manager Brendan Rodgers.

The Nigerian has started 11 of the first 12 Premier League games of the campaign, helping the Foxes concede fewer goals than any team in the division before Saturday’s visit of Arsenal.

And the ex-Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder was full of praise for Ndidi.

“He does a great job,” Redknapp said.

“He’s the sort of player that I think Arsenal have been crying out for for years.

“He’s 22 years of age, got great pace, good energy, can pass the ball.

“I think about the game earlier in the season when he gave the ball away against Chelsea and I thought ‘I wonder how he’ll react’. He ended up scoring a goal after it.

“For such a young man he plays with so much assurance and the sort of player that [Adams] would have loved to have in front of you.

“You played with the magnificent Patrick Vieira. At 22 years of age he’s got it all.”

Adams agreed with Redknapp that Ndidi is the type of player his former side need.

“Yeah absolutely, Manu [Emmanuel] Petit as well,” Adams replied.

“I met John Jensen the other day and he scored one goal in 1999, he said: ‘It’s your fault because all you used to do is say stay in front of me and protect me’.

“I didn’t let him go forward and stuff but [Arsenal] need that, they need that protection.”

Nice one but this guy should not join any team apart from city or liverpool in the epl if the offers come, Chelsea is not bad also

ejaria's rating vs luton today

Ejaria 7

Scored his third goal of the season when he netted on the half hour mark, picking out the bottom corner with a shot across goal after cutting in from the left side onto his right foot. Showed some exquisite touches (as usual) and linked up play well. Only got an hour before making way for McCleary.

so if the likes of arsenal and united come calling he shouldn't join? both teams are traditional clubs in english football with rich history and strong financial base. leicester is doing incredibly well at the moment but can they sustain that for another 2-3 seasons?

joining arsenal or man united will elevate his status and earn him bigger wages so my take on that is he shouldn't hesitate to join any of them if serious offers are made. the same reason why maguire didn't think twice when united came calling and maddison have already been penciled down for a 60m pounds move next summer.

leicester is not strong financially and will always sell their players if the right offers are made

On Cyriel Dessers...

8 - Only Dusan Tadic (16) has contributed to more league goals than Cyriel Dessers (12) in the Eredivisie this season. #Decisive.

Dessers has 8 goals + 4 assists = 12 direct goals involvement in the Dutch League.

He is knocking on the Eagles' door... wink

Arsenal and chelsea doest attract players like before, unless they offer crazy salary, hope you saw how much man united paid to get maguire ?

its all about sustainability. leicester's chances of making it to the champions league next season is very bright but can they sustain that? their best players are already linked to bigger clubs who are ready to spend big to lure them next summer.

maddison and chillwill are certain to leave leicester next summer, ndidi and their young turkish defender who have been performing well since maguire's departure are likely to move as well if the right offers are made.

what is working for leicester is their good scouting team that brings in cheap young talented unknown players who will metamorphose to world beaters in a season or 2 after the sell of their stars.

tielemans was a flop at monaco and after a season loan in leicester where he did well he was signed permanently, ndidi was just signed for 16m to replace kante, their turkish defender was signed a season or 2 ago from frankfurt for peanut nuts, maddison was snapped up from norwich then in the championship for 20m pounds. these aforementioned players with vardy are the major components that makes up the team and each won't go for less than 60-80m pounds.

Emenalo was an assistant coach. Finidi has offered to coach for free. There are some true patriots u know. I think at this stage we need
people who want to make sacrifices for Nigeria. There are so many people who have personal interests.

We are just fresh from an U17 WC disaster so I can understand the bashing ManU Garba is getting.

Modified
But it’s my proposal. Yours is welcome.

ndidi earns less than 80k pounds a week at leicester so if untd or arsenal comes with a better pay package that may double is wages he should remain at leicester?

you are right with your claim that united and arsenal don't attract big players anymore like years back but they have the financial might to push to get any they want which lesser clubs find hard to resist. or you think united and arsenal will remain in their current state for another 2 seasons?

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that West Ham have emerged as early front-runners to sign Nigerian wonderkid Malcolm Ebiowei.

Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported more than one month ago that Arsenal made a surprising decision not to offer a scholarship to the attacking midfielder despite being regarded as one of the top prospects in their U16 team.

The Gunners opted not to offer him a new contract because of issues they have had with him regarding work ethic and attitude also.

Ebiowei is definitely not lacking suitors and he is currently training with West Ham ahead of a potential move.

Today, Saturday, the free-kick expert played two games for West Ham youth teams; he started off with the U16s and scored in their 3-1 loss to Leicester City before playing the last 19 minutes for the U18 team in an U18 Premier League fixture.

Ebiowei shares the same agent as Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi and it is known that the agency has close links with Manchester City, Everton plus teams in Germany and France.

The former Netherlands U15 international was included in Nigeria's 25-man provisional squad list for the ongoing FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil but did not make the final cut.
