kellycute:Unless we want to invite them to our youth teams or if we have a deficiency in their position e.g okoye, I totally agree with you if a player isn't as good as who we have there's no point bringing him in just to cap-tie him. It's the same thing Spain are trying to do that we are crying blue murder urging us to do same is just being hypocritical |

We are our own problem. I keep telling my mom that she is wasting her time going to Urhobo Progressive Union meetings. The kind of politics dey play there just to vote American chapter president, and even the president at local level eh.. it's crazy at every level it's the same mentality. na so so wayo dem dey do to vote.. That's why we cant stand against what is wrong in this country because in our very little ways we are the same. I was thinking exactly the same my bro but I didn't want people to start having a wrong impression, so I just kept quiet. modified I respect Icons for not falling for this. somehow: 1 Like |

It's an easy solution. Don't discriminate give them a fair chance at the U17 levels upwards, so we can have the best team possible at all times. Some will stay loyal to us and should only earn a call up to the SE eventually. But if u just reserve a slot only in areas we have deficiency at the U17 level regardless, then what do you expect? By default they should be loyal to the country that has always given them a chance. jihday: 1 Like |

Joebie:Noooo, you don't understand. U-17/U-20 equal opportunity for all, senior team if the coach feel they are good enough to bench current players then bring them in, but we shouldn't bring them because we want to cap tie them |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by adrainuche(m): 8:55am On Nov 10, 2019 |
Amakpakabo is a shitty coach, he looks clueless anytime we are on the pitch, the reason we qualified for this tournament was because we had better talent than our opposition not because of the coach... Anyway ebube duru was dropped out why, he is the only natural left footed defender we had in the team and he has been doing well for Lobi stars.. 1 Like |

Joebie: Leave the U17 for enabling players in the Grassroots develop. The U20 and U23 is there for foreign born. We Could have a super eagles team B that will be playing friendly games where the foreign borns could play and have a home based team also. But the U17 should remain for thorough scouting of special home based talents and develop them. Let us not finally destroy the u17 system that brought the country so much joy. We ruled the World in that aspect. Let us not kill it but improve on the scouting in a more comprehensive manner. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

somehow: I want to believe that it's not everyone that has access to this particular thread before now usually comes around everyday like others do, Hence the inability to vote as at when due just like you are doing now by responding to a post that it water had already past under the bridge as the issue of icon4s is a forgone conclusion Again, I for one never knew anything about this thread during the voting period as I just recently came across this thread few days ago too. So, I wouldn't have been expected to vote rather than liking the post for his inclusion actually 4 Likes |

safarigirl: Quite True indeed. Besides, Some players really need the National Team pedestal to leverage them higher in their footballing career and that usually boost their country of origin's pedigree. Ultimately, NIGERIA would be better for it as the scout's attention could further be shifted to NIGERIA the more thereby helping us discover more talents into the pool available already. At the end, It shall be Glory days again for our dear Naija |

jihday: The idea is to find insane talents here in the country and give them a platform to develop to add to our pool of players. The foreign bred ones already have the platform that the ones found in the country do not have to develop. So give the very brilliant ones the chance to grow and they can all compete for spots in the national senior team and u20. 1 Like |

jihday: Robbing Osimhen of the chance to play in the u17 World Cup for Tammy Abraham who was highly trained at Chelsea would have been detrimental to Osimhen's career. Look at where Tammy is without the U17. Osimhen would not be where he is without the u17. Finito. 2 Likes |
