A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to narrate her experience at a work place where she was offered N15,000 salary as a B.Sc graduate. According to the lady identified as Warmhony on twitter, she was made to pass through two days of rigorous interview sessions, with many stages, and when the offer came, she was told she would resume work from 7am to 7pm. In her post, she mentioned that she had given up on job search for the year and will resume in the year 2020. Read her post: After 2 whole days of interview session and several stages, the terms of employment were related to be: 7am to 7pm, Mondays to Saturdays (public holiday inclusive) for N15,000 to work as the frontdesk, customer relationship officer, secretary and social media manager https://twitter.com/Warmhoney4/status/1193048548423680001 Source>>>http://www.ogbeta.ng/2019/11/nigerian-graduate-shares-her-experience.html

It is well with Nigeria. Meanwhile, the advice that you do not mind starting small should not mean taking just any job. It is not every experience that is positive. Experience on a job where they pay you 15k as a graduate is a negative one. It exposes you to temptation of envy of your peers and of unwholesome practices while you see your self worth fly overboard. 21 Likes 2 Shares |

Well, that's to show how terrible this country has become. Someone spends at least four years, under despicable conditions, in school, went to serve her father land and comes back unscathed, only to go for interview, a very rigorous one at that, and be offered to be used as a corporate slave! Damn! People don't have conscience in this country anymore! Talk of conscience, I was at the mall a few days ago and I actually left the radio and lights on...battery went down! Had to look for someone with jumpstart cable...made some calls, was able to get a staff at the mall to bring his car but no cable. I couldn't believe my ears when a dude said for him to borrow us jumpstart cable, he will collect #1,000! I thought it was a joke! They pleaded with him to collect #500...after the use of the cable (just 2min) dude actually collected the #500! I was stunned! I couldn't believe it! No conscience or genuine resolve to offer assistance again! Nigeria is breeding heartless individuals on a daily basis. No wonder the various security outfits act the way they do. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Life isn't fair to anyone so accept or leave and stop complaining. If we show you what some of us(men) passed through to get started, you will flog us to death for not being unapologetically stingy. 6 Likes |

One day I was at a bank, I was waiting inside the car, i was directly facing the security door, I could see the security man maning the door, I spent about 20mins waiting in the car, the least tip the security man got was 500 naira, I was calculating the tips for the security man unsolicited, within that 20mins I was watching, the guy raked about 10k.....no exaggeration. Am sure you can guess his monthly pay. A qualify marine engineer is paid a ridiculous amount, I know one that earns 20k, but they will never resign, find out why. I had a recent job interview, I was asked how much I would like to earn, I asked my interviewer....pls aside the job you're employing me for, what other skill will I learn while working here? He said none, I left. We all running after momentary gain which is why we don't see beyond the immediate. 2 Likes 1 Share |

What are her skills? The truth is that many graduates just want to be employed because of a certificate which most of them can't defend. 2 Likes |

Dear graduate, I feel your plight. Go and learn a skill. Thank Mr later... Era of certificate is over. What can you do.. Except you want to be paid to sit on a chair from morning till night... Get ICT skill and source for works from outside work environment. Solve people's problem and and money will locate you. 1 Like |
