Trans viginal scan is not good to be doing constantly, it makes cervix to b soft. Is only advisable to do it during the early stage, so always go with abdominal scan for the safety of ur baby...

Im currently on 34% and this was as at 2 weeks ago. Although my clinic days are now weekly, I've only been checked just as at 2 weeks ago and not at my last ante clinic.

I'm seriously fatigued, and I called my doctor again. I'll possibly be checked at my next appointment.. Again.

Fatigue is my main problem.

Maybe yours is monitored @ each appointment because of your complain to be sure everything is perfect. I've only had it once since I registered, but I will ask my Dr during my appointment on Thursday to know why I've not been checked again.

Think it's based on the hospital policy, and if there's need for it to be monitored.
The hospital I had my DS does Pcv and urinalysis at every appointment.
But the one I'm using now just did it once during registration, and only do subsequent ones based on the 1st result.

u can go do FBC ursef in any lab... U didnt ve 2 ask ur dr abt it.... Me i chk my pcv n scan anyao without dr's request cs these people wont ask u of ur pcv details after d first one except u complain of tiredness or dizziness dtz wen dey will ask u 2 go do FULL BLOOD COUNT test.

Her PCV at booking was lower than 30% so it makes sense that its consistently monitored. Yours was probably fine at booking. You can ask what the value was for your peace of mind. Mine was 37% at booking. 36% at last check (checked because I went in complaining of dizziness)

Normal pelvic scan can check for cervix length please avoid transvaginal as much as possible anytime after 12 weeks. When I was pregnant the more I did the transvaginal scan the shorter my cervix was until I refused doing it.

Sorry mama, I have heartburn issues too. Even before pregnancy which increased during pregnancy. What I do is I eat small meals many times a day instead of eating full meal at a time, then I avoid lying down or bending one for like an hour after eating. It has helped a lot and haven't taken antacid for a while.

Sorry ma'am, a mama just mentioned a drug to me (omepeazole) and I intend asking my doctor about it. You can as well as your doctor if you can take it. Heartburn is real meh

Mine was 34% @ booking and has not been rechecked since then, maybe because if they ask me if I have any complain and I said no. The only complain I have is heartburn. No ms in first trimester sef.

About scan, I can't say the number of of scan I've done. As a ftm that has waited so long to have it with my experience with blighted ovum, I do scan anyhow ni When I wanted to confirm sex to be sure of what to shop for baby, I did 3 scans from different centers in a day . Thank God for the journey so far sha
